Ethan and I have been together for almost 2 years but me and him have been having the biggest fights over the littlest things.
"God dammit y/n you put my whites with the colored clothes!" Ethan yelled at me.
"I-I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention" I murmured.
About to cry.
"You know what I'm done, I'm over you and this whole relationship was a waste of time" he stated throwing the basket over.
"You don't mean that" I said back laughing nervously.
"Yes, the FUCK I do y/n" he screamed.
I jumped at his response, tears about to spill out. One because he yelling and Two I'm about to loose the love of my life.
"Ethan. no... I'll try harder" I begged finally walking up to him grabbing his face.
"You've said that One two many times" he said through his gritted teeth.
"Baby please don't leave me" I cried now actually crying infront of Ethan.
"NO! I DONT WANT YOU ANYMORE!" He yelled pushing me off of him.
I fell to the floor backing up to the wall, bringing my knees to my face bawling my eyes out.
"I'll be back sometime to get my things" he said walking out of my life.
— a month later
I had gotten a knock on my apartment door, it surprised me.
"Hello?" I yelled out.
Knock again. "Who's there?" I yelled out again.
"Open the door y/n" I heard a voice say.
It can't be....
I got up to open the door very slowly.
I opened it all the way having Ethan walk inside.
"What are you doing here Eth?" I asked
"It's been a whole 3 weeks" I said looking down realizing it's actually been that long.
"Y/n" he said lifting my head up.
"Hmm" I hummed in response, I was so soft on him because I was still so inlove with him, but I respected his decision to not be with me anymore.
"Look y/n, I made a mistake-" he started.
"Yeah you told me u made a 'mistake' ever being with me... don't remind me" I finished looking down a tear dropping down my cheek.
"No, no, no y/n don't cry baby" he said grabbing my hands pulling me into his chest letting me cry.
As I was done crying I backed away from him, as it was awkward.
"Well... how have you been?" I asked changing the emotional subject.
"I'm fine, how have you been?" He asked back.
"You know the answer Ethan" I said shaking my head.
"You probably don't even think about me or even care of my existence" I blurted out my thought. I instantly covered my mouth regretting what I had just said.
"Baby... you have no fucking idea" he crouched in-front of me on the couch, so he was face to face with me.
"I'm not over you, y/n" he said his voice cracking and him putting his head on my legs.
"I was yelling out of anger, baby" him now shaking his head crying.
"Your the love of my LIFE, y/n. I could never let you out of my life." He finally said the words I've been waiting to hear.
I cupped his cheeks and kissed his lips softly.
"As soon as I left the apartment, I wanted to walk right back in and have make up sex, but I was scared too." He admitted.
"I love you, Ethan" I said forgiving him.
"I love you way more, and I mean that and i will do better. I promise" he said kissing me again.
"Try again?" He asked.
"Of course we can" I got up and hugged him the tightest I could.
"I was never over you, y/n" he whispered.
