Chapter Eight: Puns And Puzzles!

Note: Ugh this chapter is going to be the death of me because it's hard for me to come up with puns so wish me luck. There won't be alot of puns cause I suck at them but I still wanted to name this chapter that so yeah.

Papyrus stood a couple inches away from Sans. "BROTHER! WHY HAVE YOU NOT RECALIBRATED YOUR PUZZLES! WHAT HAVE YOU EVEN BEEN DOING?" Papyrus shouted. When Papyrus shouted it hurted Tierney's ears a bit and she covered her ears with her hands but not all the way as to wanting to hear the conversation. "I've just been staring at this lamp, it's pretty neat. Want to look at it?" Sans asked. "SANS I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR SHENANIGANS! WHAT IF A HUMAN COMES THROUGH HERE?! WE NEED TO BE READY!" Papyrus said. "Oh come on Paps why don't you cool off for a bit." Sans said. Papyrus got a bit peeved at Sans pun but Tierney and Niks giggled at it. "I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR PUNS BROTHER!" Papyrus said a bit annoyed. "Aw why not? You know my puns are a bonefied way to make someone smile." Sans said. Tierney and Niks continued laughing while trying to not be heard by Papyrus and Papyrus even smiled at that pun. "I WOULDN'T SAY THAT!" Papyrus said. "Bro your smiling." Sans said smirking a bit. "I AM AND I HATE IT! I THE GREAT PAPYRUS MUST GET BACK TO WORK AS FOR YOUR WORK PUT A LITTLE MORE BACKBONE INTO IT! NEYHEHEHEHE!" Papyrus said as he left the room. Then he came back. "HEH!" Papyrus said and left the room again. "Okay you can come out now." Sans said as he looked at the lamp. Tierney only poked her head out worried that he might come back. "Are you sure he won't come back?" Tierney asked. "Positive kid." Sans said. "O-Okay." Tierney said as she came out of hiding. "You should get going before he comes back otherwise you'll have to sit through more of my jokes." Sans said. "I think your jokes are funny so I wouldn't mind hearing more." Tierney said. "Heh, thanks kiddo." Sans said. "Your welcome." Tierney said as she smiled at him. Tierney waved at him and turned around and walked to end the end of the room. "Hey kid!" Sans said. Tierney stopped walking and looked back at Sans. "My brother's been kind of down lately and seeing human might just make his day. And don't worry he's harmless even if he tries to make himself seem tough and besides I'll keep an eye socket on ya." Sans said as he walked back towards the bridge. "Well alrighty then." Tierney said. Tierney walked into the next room and saw another save point and saved. "The convince of that lamp still fills you with perseverance/determination." A voice said. Tierney kept walking until she met up with the skeleton brothers again. "Sans, is that a human?" Papyrus asked. "Uh no that's a rock." Sans replied. "Oh." Papyrus said. "But what is that behind the rock?" Sans asked. " OH MY GOSH! SANS IS THAT A HUMAN?" Papyrus asked. "Yes Paps it is." Sans replied. Papyrus then squealed with excitement but then goes back to his normal self. "AHEM! HUMAN! YOU SHALL NOT PASS THIS AREA! NYEHEHEHEHE!" Papyrus said and left the room leaving Tierney and Sans behind. "Well that was um interesting." Tierney said. "Yeah but at least he's happy now. Thank you kiddo." Sans said. "Of course!" Tierney said. "See ya around kid." Sans said as he walked past her. Tierney continued forwards and kept running into puzzles and the skeleton brothers, not that it's a bad thing or anything but the puzzles were starting to annoy her though. Eventually Tierney got to the bridge of deadly terror but she didn't know it was called that until Papyrus said it and brought down the trap. "Uh Paps that doesn't look very activated." Sans said. "I KNOW I AM UM ABOUT TO ACTIVE IT NOW!" Papyrus said. But the bridge still didn't look activated and Sans knew that and was about to remind Papyrus but Papyrus spoke before he could. "YOU KNOW WHAT THIS PUZZLE SEEMS TO EASY TO USE TO DEFEAT THE HUMAN! AWAY IT GOES!" Papyrus said. Papyrus took the puzzle away and Tierney made it across and everyone looked at Papyrus. "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?! THIS WAS ANOTHER GREAT VICTORY BY THE GREAT PAPYRUS! NYEHEHEHEHE!" Papyrus said and left the room. "Seems like my brother is having fun." Sans said. "Yeah, I'm also sort of having fun but these puzzles are getting me mad a bit." Those are puzzles for ya." Sans said. Tierney nodded and continued to walk into the next room. Tierney eventually made it to snowdin town. "Finally!!" Tierney said in relief. "Let's go explore the town!" Niks said excited. "Okay!" Tierney said. Niks is excited to explore the town to see if anything has changed and so far from where there standing it still looked the same.

Note: Sorry this chapter is so short hopefully the next one will be long I just didn't know what to do with this chapter.
