Chapter Nine: There Arrival

Note: I know I said I'm only going to do soundtrack for boss battles and I will I just want you to hear this cool soundtrack remix. 

Tierney and Niks started walking through Snowdin Town and the first place they stopped to look at is the inn and shop. Tierney saw another save point in between the inn and shop and walked up to it and touched it. "The sight of such a friendly town fills you with perseverance/determination." A voice said. Tierney still had no idea who's voice that belonged to but she hoped she never meets them because there voice sounded demonic and she hated it that she'd have to press the save point every time but she knew if she didn't she had to start all the way back to the last placed she saved. She figured out the hard way after she died a couple of times she would end up back at the last save point. And it seems every time she presses the save point the voice becomes more demonic at the beginning it was normal but the farther she gets the more demonic the voice becomes and the more hesitant Tierney becomes to press it. Tierney and Niks walked into the inn. "Hello there! What can I help you with today?" A voice said. Tierney looked to who spoke and saw it was a monster but this one is a bunny and she looked like a cowgirl and even had that accent of one. "Can I have a room please?" Tierney asked. "Of course you can sweetie." The rabbit said. Tierney payed for the room and the rabbit handed her a key. "Your room will be on the second story and at the end of the hall." The rabbit said. "alright thank you." Tierney said. "Your welcome, have a nice night." The rabbit said. "You to." Tierney said. Tierney and Niks then walked behind the counter and up the stairs to the second floor. Tierney finally made it to the end of the hallway. Tierney then put her key into the keyhole and unlocked the door. Tierney opened the door and walked inside while closing the door behind her. "Man today has been exhausted." Tierney said. Niks nodded. "Yeah it has with all these puzzles being thrown at us all the time who wouldn't be exhausted." Niks said. "Heh, that's true.." Tierney said as she walked over to the bed. Once at the bed Tierney sat down on the bed she took her shoes off. "Going to bed I presume." Niks said. "Yeah I am pretty tired after everything that's happened today. I'll see you in the morning Niks." Tierney said. "Alright night Tierney." Niks said. "Night." Tierney said. Tierney layed down on the bed while pulling the covers over her and fell asleep. In the morning Tierney woke up but didn't see Niks anywhere but she did feel a dark presence however. "N-Niks? Are you here?" Tierney asked, looking around the room. No response so Tierney got sat up and sat on the edge of the bed and putted her shoes and stood up. Tierney walked over to the door and opened it and left the room and headed back downstairs of the inn and a figure stood in her way. "Did you sleep well?" A familiar voice asked. Tierney looked up and saw the same monster from yesterday. "Oh um yes I did." Tierney said. "I'm glad, may I have the key back? I forgot to mention that you have to pay every night." The rabbit said. "Oh um ok." Tierney said. "But you know what, for you my little one you can stay here for free for however long you need." The rabbit said. "T-Thank you." Tierney said. The rabbit monster reminded her of Toriel just a bit especially when she said "little one". The rabbit then went back to her desk and Tierney left the room and decided to save again. Tierney looked at her hp after she saved and she thought she was reading it wrong. Her hp said 50/40? She is so confused by that but decided to ignore it for now. Tierney continued walking over to the shop that is built with the inn and went inside. "Hello traveler! How can I help you today?" A voice asked. Tierney saw that this monster is another rabbit. The rabbit showed Tierney a menu of the things she selled. Tierney bought a couple of things from her and left and saved once again. She didn't want the risk of losing her items and having to buy them over again. Tierney still felt that dark presence and did not like how it was following her. She decided to try to ignore it and kept exploring the town even though she is cold from the snow and all that. Tierney ended up in a dead end and was about to turn around to go back. "Stop...... Right...... There...." A voice said. Tierney just froze in place. She heard this voice before. It matched the voice of the save points. "Do not turn around." The voice said. Tierney really wanted to know who this was and didn't care about the consequences so she disobeyed and turned around. It was another human but they looked faded as if they were a ghost or just really pale. The had brown hair, red eyes, a light green sweater with one yellow stripe, brown shorts and brown boots. However Tierney couldn't tell if they were a boy or a girl. They were also holding a knife but Tierney never noticed it. "Didn't I just say to not turn around?" They asked. Tierney just stayed silent. "Well I didn't want you to see me do this but oh well that doesn't matter now." They stepped closer towards Tierney. "W-Who are you?" Tierney manged to speak as she stepped backwards. They laughed but there laugh wasn't normal it sounded insane almost, that's when Tierney noticed the knife they were carrying and her eyes widen. Tierney backed up until she could no longer back up. They stopped laughing and noticed that Tierney had corned herself which will make it easier on them. "I will answer that question as your last request. My name is Chara the demon that comes when people call it's name." Chara finally replied to Tierney's question. Tierney looked at Chara with a terrified look. "What do you mean as my last request? What are you going to do to me?" Tierney asked, shaken. "Isn't it obvious? I'm going to kill you." Chara said as they came closer to Tierney. "W-Why!! I haven't done anything to you!!" Tierney explained. "Heh no you haven't but there is something I want from you." Chara said. "And what's that?" Tierney asked. "Your soul. It's different then any souls I have came across. Your soul is covered in two different traits. Perseverance and Determination. And I want it." Chara said as they moved closer. Tierney put her hand over her chest. "I'm not going to let you have it." She said feeling a bit determined. Chara laughed manically. "We'll see about that." Chara said.
