Luann scribbled on her paper, she had a frustrated scowl. "So this lady forced you into the house?"
I looked up still in horror. "Yes. She was a jerk."
Luann pulled out a cigarette and a lighter. She popped the white stick in her mouth and held the lighter up to the butt of it. She took a puff of it and swung it to the side in a gesture for an explanation. "Why would she take you but not kill you?"
I looked her but didn't react when the smoke hit my face. My dad was a heavy smoker, he even got me into them. "Man I wish I had my bag." I sighed.
Luann looked at me and laughed. "You can have one of mine. Maybe it will help you relax, although your young to be a smoker. And your medical records say you have a lung and heart deficiency."
I looked at her and cracked my first smile, even though it was only half of one. "No I have a hookah pen, the ones without nicotine. I quit a long time ago when I started running, and when my doctor told me I would not shorten my life span."
Luann got up and walked to Jerry, she asked him a question and he nodded. Pulling out of his pocket was one of the disposable hookah pens. He tossed it on the table to me. "I actually took it away from my daughter, she's around your age, it's the nicotine free ones, but I didn't want her to "step up" her game."
I took the hookah pen and smiled, it was grape, my favorite flavor "okay, continuing on." I waved my hand in the air, blowing out the smoke.

I woke up against something hard and cold. I tried to get up, but I found myself bounded by rope. it was dark and cold, water was dripping above me.
I struggled more but then I heard screaming, It was a younger male. I knew who it was.. it was Evan. Heathers twelve year old brother. I tried to block out the cries for his mommy and daddy. Which Heather screamed were already dead. I guess you got to take out the strongest.
I sat struggling against the rope, until I realized the woman tied me to the water heater. Thinking about its cylinder shape I realized something, If I push up over the heater, even though I'll be wrapped around the pipes, I can find the switch for the water since I have more room, turn it off and easily break the weak PCP pipes.
Putting my plan into action, I started shimming my bounded arms around the heater slowly making my way up. When I got to where I wanted I felt my arms become lose, however my arms were to bent backwards to reach for the switch.
I hung my head down thinking of what to do next, but then I heard foot steps creep down. Fear struck as I panicked. The screaming had stopped upstairs, had the woman finally finish them? I started crying again, thinking about what this crazy person would do to me if she saw I tried to escape.
The footsteps came closer, and I started cringing.
"What did you do.." I heard a vicious growl. The half silhouette of her body showed her angry glare. She pulled out a gun and aimed the barrel towards me.
"No! please!" I cried, trying to flash my untied hands in front of me.
Then without hesitation in heard the shot.
