Eric

I told Alissa that my fiance has arrived. Although, she didn't even know that I have a fiance. She looked blank for few moments but then just smiled and congratulated me. Yeah, she probably must be thinking about who would like to marry this arrogant jerk. But I knew that she was wondering something else.

I was so desperate on going out for lunch with her but I knew that excitement won't last long. Yesterday when I reached home I was surprised to find Cheryl and her parents over at my house. I almost forgot about them but sometimes happiness doesn't last long. Mr And Mrs Patrick were looking so delighted to see me. I was not even one per cent happy to see them.

Cheryl was looking at me with such a huge grin on her face like she has discovered some kind of a jewel. She had toned skin, an hourglass figure, black hair, blue eyes and she was 5 feet 8 inches tall. Yeah, you must be thinking stunning right. But, I still did not found her more stunning than Alissa. I don't know why. But yeah, Alissa has something which Cheryl doesn't have.

Alissa did not talk to me much after we reached back to my company. She was all day in her cabin busy with her work but I wanted her to come to my cabin and ask me to sign a file for her. As the day passes she quickly left without even greeting me and I was a little disappointed with that. When I reached home Mr Robin and Mrs Emma were still there. I really wanted them to leave. They all even started to plan my wedding.

Are you freaking insane?

I sat with them. It was not that I wanted to it was that dad glared at me that I have to sit.

"So Eric, from tomorrow Cheryl will come with you to your company so that you can teach her some work like how to handle a company, maintaining a record of a company and all that" Robin said.

"Uh-uh" I wanted to say 'no' but.....

"Sure, Eric will take her, after all, they are soon going to be husband and wife" Josephine said and gave a stern look to me.

I got up and went straight to my room. Maybe they will get a sign that I am not interested. Cassandra was also there and I felt like she noticed my sadness. She was way too good at just recognising my sad moods. Just then when I needed her the most she entered my room. She quietly sat beside me and nudged me at my arm. She always does this when she wants to make me feel better.

"Brother" She said in a cute voice.

"Hmm...?" I said

"Eric, I know what you are feeling" I kept my mouth shut.

"The day mom and dad told me that you are getting married I knew that you are not happy with it. The way you behaved, the way you talked, the way you looked at Alissa" My heart skipped a beat when she said her last line.

I looked at her and she smirked.

"I know Eric that you have special feelings for her. I know that you, maybe, that you love her. Eric, you are a completely different person when you are with her. And she is the only girl who can control you and can have the courage to argue with you. Eric, I know what dad has said to you and that is why I called someone to help you out with it" I got confused about whom she has called to help me. I can help my own freaking self.

"Ethan is coming in two days" She said.

I think I've never been so happy before to hear any news, not even when I became the CEO. I looked at Cassandra and she was giving her brightest smile.

"Ethan is coming" I said, not believing what she said.

"Yes, I called him and he is eager to come here"

"And who told you about Alissa and....."

"The way you look at her said it all" She said and I hit her with the pillow and then the pillow fight started.
