"Who is she?" A voice came. I knew whose voice it was.
On one side I was very happy but on the other very terrified. He is the only one with whom I cannot argue. I backed away from Alissa and she was completely scared right now.
"Ethan I-" I was interrupted by his voice.
"I believe she is not the girl whom you are marrying then what is she doing here?" His voice got calm at the end of the sentence but still, I was scared.
Ethan walked towards both of us and looked at Alissa.
"Do you need a glass of water miss...?"
"Alissa" I completed the sentence for Alissa as she was not looking in the state of speaking something.
Ethan didn't wait for her answer and brought a glass of water for her. Yeah, he is a gentleman. He always had this soft heart for girls....only. Alissa drank the whole glass of water and silently thanked him. Ethan made her sit on the couch and gesture me to sit too.
"Alissa I will drop you home. Don't worry. And Eric I expected this though but you should not forget to respect a girl. You were literally forcing her to......What can I say? Eric you are going to get married and I know you don't want to but please don't cross the dignity because of which your family have to suffer. If you want to do something, you should use your maturity. You have already dated like almost every girl on this planet. Please be serious now" He said.
I just kept on nodding. Alissa didn't know what to do. Now, the worst part is that Ethan knows what I do sometimes. Ethan asked Alissa to come with him in the car and that he will drop her back at her home. I wanted to interfere and say that I want to go and leave her but that would have not been the best decision for me. Soon they both left the mansion and I was there sitting on the couch dumbfounded. I heard the door open again. I looked back and saw Dad, Step-mom, Cassandra, Cheryl, Robin and Emma. I honestly thought they all were sleeping. I got up from the couch hoping they wouldn't have noticed Ethan taking Alissa in the car.
Cheryl smiled and came towards me. I just wanted to push her away but Richard was looking at me like he would kill me if I did that. She awkwardly made me put my arm around her waist. She planted a kiss on my cheek and I felt sick to my stomach. I pulled myself away and looked at everyone.
"Where is Ethan?" Emma questioned.
"He just wanted to..uh.. complete some urgent work" I scratched my forehead and tried to end the discussion.
They just nodded and I asked "Where were you all by the way?"
Step-mom answered " Just went to a restaurant to fix the date of the engagement party and the wedding. We have also chosen the wedding card design and Cheryl has done the work related to the cake. She went to the best and the most expensive one and decided on the design and the flavour of the cake. We have also ordered wedding clothes for you and for us as well if there will be any objection on any of the dresses then we will get another one" She said so much, but didn't ask me once if I was okay with it. If I had something to choose too.
"I think this is my wedding right? And you all have gone to the restaurant and have already decided everything. Even my wedding clothes. This is my wedding or yours. I just wish I would have died before even coming to this world. Or dad would have never taken divorce from my mom. Even she would have taken better care of me than you all, who just wants to rule my damn life" I completed and picked up the keys of my car and went straight out of the mansion. From the hell. I got out of my car and started to walk on the pavement. These people really need a reality check. Except for Cassandra. At least there is someone who understands me. Alissa. God! She also understands me better than anyone.
The day I was with her at the amusement park we both had so much fun. I felt at that moment that Alissa could be a better person in my life than anyone. I wish I would see her here and could get a chance of apologizing.
