Chapter 36

Eric was working in his cabin but couldn't concentrate on his work due to last night conversation. He didn't know that Alissa has gone through so much. In fact, nobody knew about this. He was shocked that how could someone do like this. Alissa told him that when Joel injected her she fainted and when she woke up she was tied down on the bed. She was screaming for help but no one came. Later, Joel came and untied her and threatened her not to tell this to anyone or else he will harm her sister. After a month she came to know that she was pregnant. But, she knew that Joel won't accept the baby. He has already made her sign the contract on which it was clearly written that she will do the abortion if she comes to know that she is pregnant.

She didn't tell this to anyone. But one day when she was coming back from work as she was a waiter in a restaurant she suddenly felt cloth on her mouth and within seconds everything was a blur. When she woke up she was in a room and Joel and two men were present in front of her. They abused her and forcefully injected her. After that, they left her on the pavement near her home and she later came to know that the abortion was already done. She was devastated by all this. She was unable to register all this in her mind. The boy whom she loved with all her heart done all this. She thought of committing suicide but that was not the most appropriate thing to do. Later, she moved on with her life or say that learned to live with that pain.

Eric was just thinking of how to deal out with all this. He just wanted to smash someone's face with a hammer. But that would not sort out anything. The problem was massive and the solution was nothing right now. He thought to cheer up Alissa a bit. As she is already upset with all of those things. He quickly got up and started to walk towards her cabin but maybe luck was not in his favour right now that he was pulled back by someone and it was no other than Cheryl. He turned around and saw her smiling at him like an idiot. He just wanted to lock her in a room and spend the whole day with Alissa. He checked out her attire. She was hardly wearing anything. She was wearing a black sleeveless dress and it was revealing her stomach a bit and it only came till her upper thigh. So for Eric, it was practically gross.

"Hi future husband" She said and crashed her lips on his.

He wanted to pull back but she just completely put all her body on him that it was impossible. Neither he wanted to hurt her by pushing because the outcomes won't be very nice and he has never hurt any girl. She slowly pulled back and gave him a cheesy smile.

"What are you doing here?" Eric asked in a professional voice.

"It was getting hard to stay there without you and you have not been giving me any practices on how to handle a company or whatsoever. After all, I am the future CEO of my dad's company" She said with a very dramatic expression on her face.

"Listen, we will do it tomorrow. I have to go for a meeting" Eric thought it is best to lie rather than to spend one hour with her.

"Hey, come on. Can't you do this much for me" She said taking a step back.

"No. Because I am very busy" He said not caring about her emotions.

She stumped her foot on the ground like a small child and Eric almost laughed at her silly behaviour. He always had his interest in mature girls not in those who behave like this.

"Okay then. Bye" She said angrily.

"Okay. Bye" He said like he didn't care and Cheryl turned around and left.

He let out a breath of relief and turned around to see Alissa looking at him. He smiled at her but she didn't smile back. He knew that she saw them kissing. Eric went towards her and pulled her into her cabin.

"You both were kissing" She said.

"She pulled herself on me. I was trying my best to leave" He said.

Alissa smiled and said "Yeah, I know"

"Then why were you looking upset?" He asked.

"Just..... Didn't wanted to see that sight. I feel sad" She said.

Eric smirked and walked towards her. Alissa took a step back and her back was now on the wall. Eric pulled her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. Eric crashed his lips on her and they both started kissing. They were both kissing each other like their life is dependent on each other. Eric pulled her down and pulled away and kissed her cheek. She blushed and hid her face on his chest. He put his finger under her chin and made her look into his eyes.

"I love you, Alissa. I really do" He said.

"I love you too Eric" She said and pulled him for a hug.

"Want to go out on a date with me today?" He asked.

Alissa pulled back and looked at him with wide eyes and nod her head vigorously. Eric chuckled and said "Be ready at 7:00"
