{Y/N}'s POV
We ran along the street towards my two friend's house and this time we were faster than I thought. I didn't know why that was so but I'm sure that has something to do with my excitement.
Yes, I was nervous and couldn't wait for my first turf war.
Gloves and Half-Rimz could feel that and that's why they were so happy. They had fun introducing a newcomer like me to the real world of an inkling and they were doing it correctly. I felt comfortable with the two and so slowly I see them really as great friends. I didn't have to ask them, because it was clear how the relationship between us was.
Of course, we're just three good friends, who haven't done much together yet, but we get along quite well. We understood eachother, even if we haven't known each other for such a long time, and that's also a great start to a perfect friendship.
That's exactly how I imagined it and was happy about it. That's why I came in close behind the two who were talking to eachother until nothing works. They were actually talking about stuff all the time, which I couldn't quite understand, and that's why they excluded me from being confused or anything else. At least, I thought so, but I was wrong, because suddenly they turned their heads towards me, while walking on.
"Hey {Y/N}, if you're wondering why you're still being followed by two stupid inklings, then we'd like to tell you. We've done that before. I mean, treat a newbie that he or she everything learns, like a teacher, but we never had so much pleasure such as now. We actually always notice this at the beginning with the expression on the faces. They were all badly and we tought it would never change. But we're wrong, because you're a special case. You're different and the first one, who enjoys the time with us, while wandering around to many places, which are important to know, or ... is this all fake?" Gloves asked, after he had cut out a huge statement.
I shook my head eagerly and didn't really want to hear that anymore. "No, you've guessed right, I'm just happy because you guys are the only friends which I own" I replied softly, beaming at the two questioning faces. They looked at eachother slightly and smiled.
"Then of course we'll do everything we can to stay together. With these words I want to say: welcome into the team" Gloves said proudly, holding out his hand.
"Huh? Team? W-what you mean?" I asked in confusion, hesitating to shake hands for whatever it was meant to be. Gloves frowned and couldn't believe it with wide eyes that I didn't understand, what he wanted to say with that.
"Do you want to be a member of our team? Yes or no? It's your decision after all..." Half-Rimz added and went in for Gloves, who still couldn't believe his ears. Well, Gloves, you weren't the only one, because I couldn't believe that I'm really so welcome to your team so fast. That was actually my dream to be a member of a team and would swear allegiance. It was just an honor and I shook his hand for confirmation that I would be happy to be a member of Gloves' team. Gloves calmed down again and was letting go of my hand after a while.
"Even though we are five now, you can still stand in for Straps-Chan as long as she's absent and thus gone" Half-Rimz suggested.
I nodded and then we walked a bit further.
Two minutes later we were already at the house and Half-Rimz stopped right in front of the door, while Gloves was already heading into the living room with the highest joy I had ever seen.
"{Y/N}, I suggest that you stay here for a moment, we'll be right back with Clip-Ons, and then we go back to the inkopolis square, okay?" Half-Rimz begged sternly plus deeply, who was then following Gloves.
