Percy's POV:
I left the lunchroom and headed towards my fourth period class. Nico half-followed half-skipped after me with a weird grin that only showed the top row of his teeth, and made his eyes all squinty. I stifled a laugh and sat down next to Nico in the very back row. I grabbed him and hugged him tightly, ruffling his hair with my left hand. He quickly stopped blushing and leaned into the hug, wrapping his hands around me and moaning, "Mmm; Percy! hug me harder!" I blushed a deep red and forced a laugh.

Nico leaped off my lap like a jack-rabbit on Tuesday, (I have no idea...) blushing like crazy and gawking at my 'lower-areas'. I followed his gaze to see a pretty bad case of 'boner-itis' showing through my jeans. "um, N-Neeks, I.....I need to go to the bathroom!!!" I yelled, rushing out of the classroom and earning many weird looks and some yelling from my teacher. I slammed my head against the white cinder block walls of the school restroom stall.
Ugh. Nico would never let this go,
I thought.
No, he's shy. he'll probably act normal and be disgusted by me on the inside.
I punched the wall hard enough to crack my knuckles.
My. Life. Is. Over.
Then, the thought finally crept its way into my thick skull; Why in AAAAll of freaking Olympus was Nico able to give me a boner?! I mean, shouldn't him being a dude be a huge turn off? besides, even if I was gay or bi or whatever, which I am NOT, Nico and I are waaaaaaaaay to close buddies...
After I was 'calmed down', I returned to class in time for a lecture just before the bell rang.
~One Schoolday Later~
I walked through the bus aisle and took a seat across from Nico. He got up and sat next to me. He shifted around awkwardly before looking me straight in the eyes. "Per.....Percy?" I nodded, averting my eyes from his deep brown eyes. "Its ok...you know, what happened earlier. I don't really mind it if I excite you." he said, smirking. I hated being on this side of teasing, so I scooted closer and leaned Into his neck. When I breathed, he tensed up and his neck radiated with the heat of embarrassment. I inhaled deeply, just to creep the hell out of him. he smelled like a funeral home; like stale cologne and those odd dyed flowers from publix. "Mmm, Nico!" i mumbled through his neck. "blush harder." I leaned back and ruffled his hair, feeling happy to put him in the same position that I was in earlier that day. "gah...Percy, please don't do that again!"
"SHMUCKLES BUCKLES!!!"
I yelled, loud enough to get everyone looking in our direction. I shrugged and pointed towards Nico. My job here was done. I got off the bus to see my mom, curious about where Nico was staying.
~that Saturday~
I sat in my room while frantically skipping songs on my only pandora radio station, today's hits. You see, being a full-time hero meant that I didn't really have much time to figure out what kind of music I liked. In other words, I was stuck skipping through songs about sexual attraction and butts on today's hits radio. However, I found a particular song that had a nice beat to dance to. I couldn't help but sing along and dance on my bed. "Let me see dat booty work! booty work! booty work!"
I looked down to see Nico standing in the the doorway, blushing and shaking his head. There I was, in my Finding Nemo boxers, blaring 'Booty Wurk', while standing on my bed and bare-chested-squat-dancing. "oh...hey Neeks..." I said awkwardly.
I explained to Nico about my musical issues, causing him to smile. "I think I can fix that."
Within a few hours of listening to Nico fangirl over bands and tell me what bands were 'posers', and which were 'legit dinner', my iPod was loaded down with just about every song by Black Veil Brides, Panic at the Disco, Falling in Reverse, Green Day, and My Chemical Romance. When I suggested something by Sleeping With Sirens, because they seemed similar to these bands, he freaked out, screaming at me that they were not 'legit dinner', and they needed some real talent and they were huge freaking posers, etc, etc.
