Nico
In the past few weeks if school, I've discovered 2 things,
1. I have a crush on Percy.
2. Percy has a crush on Rachel.
Whenever I talk to Rachel, Percy glares at me like I'm doing something horribly wrong. It's pretty hopeless, Percy is straight, and even if he wasnt, he wouldn't like me. Dave has been getting on my nerves a lot lately, constantly bugging me about if i like Percy. Obviously I lie to him every time, honesty only causes problems. I'm laying awake in bed right now, its 2 in the morning and i can't sleep. Dave snores. I decided to turn on my playlist, listening to music is better than laying here.
"...Take your hand in mine, its do or die..." I mouthed the words to my favorite song. This song reminds me of Percy. I put the song on repeat and closed my eyes.
"Hey Nicooooo!" Dave's cheerful voice seemed out of place in my dreary mood. I pulled out my headphones, but i still kept my eyes closed.
"What do you want, Dave? Im trying to sleep." I huffed.
"Well its time for school mr. grumpy."
Ugh, another day of swooning over Percy-mc-perfect. I got up and got ready, wearing grey jeans and a black tee shirt. Aren't i sexy?(note the sarcasm.)
I walked into school and immediately forgot about Dave. Sorry Dave, you're just not as great as Percy. I found myself walking to English rather quickly, strangely eager to see my two friends. Even though Rachel is competition, shes still my "bff" as Percy calls it. Once again, i was smooth enough to trip and land on Percy. I was about to get off him when he began to yell,
"Rape! rape!"
All the color drained from my face. what the hades, Percy?!?
"Wha?" I wasnt really sure how i was supposed to respond to that.
"Haha, just messin with ya Neeks!"
"Oh...Um yeah." I quickly got up, trying to ignore the people staring at us.
"Nico, what did i tell you about raping people?" Rachel exclaimed.
"Aww, leave him alone Rachel, i don't mind too much. you get used to the ways of the Nico eventually!" Percy piped up. I rested my head in my hands and trudged to my usual seat: in between Percy and Rachel. Percy put his arm around my shoulder and sighed.
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb..." He breathed. my eyes widened.
"Wha...what?"
"You know, from twilight. I read it." he said, casually moving his arm.
"So Nico, arro or Jane?" Rachel cut in.
"Um... probably Arro."
"Me too!"
We began yet another discussion about twilight and Percy fell into his pouty mode.
"Oh my gods Percy! look, Rachel and i are just friends, no need to get all jealous."
"I'm not jealous."
"Yeah, you are."
"Why would i be jealous?"
I threw my hands into the air and turned away. I shook my head, soooo smooth.

I sat and stared at my food, i didn't feel like eating. As i pondered what was in the schools meat loaf, I felt a hand go over my mouth.
"You're being Nico-napped!" Percy announced. He sat down next to me and looked around.
"Nicooooo!" I heard a familiar voice call. Dave. I groaned, what did he want?
"Yes, Dave?" i said irritably.
"Wanna sit with me today?" He asked. Before i had a chance to respond, Percy held his hand over my mouth and pulled me toward him. My face turned bright red.
"Im sorry, but your friend is currently being held against his will. Come again soon, bye!" Percy said as he shooed Dave away. Percy released me and I caught my breath.
"Percy, can you please stop teasing me?" I asked.
"Teasing you? i dont tease."
"You called me rapist, said you were in love with me, and then Nico-napped me. twice."
"I did no such thing! Nico-napping is a crime punishable by death!"
I rolled my eyes. Two can play at this game...
