I run home so joyfully I don't even think about the cars while crossing the road. That was a big mistake... A big truck comes towards me I don't know what to do so I stop and BAM! Luckly Hayes saw me from a distance and ran over that's all I remember.She's waking up I hear my mom say.
"Oh sweetie! My baby!"
"Mom?"
"Yes, yes I'm here."
I slowly open my eyes and I see that I have a broken arm and a broken leg and I also see Hayes bowing his head down like it's his fault.
"H-h-Hayes?"
"Yeah Rosie I'm here."
I remember oh yeah he's my boyfriend because I remember texting mom and saying I got a boyfriend! I don't see Nash or dad.
"Mom where's Nash and Dad?"
"They went to go get coffee for us."
"Oh..."
"Sweetie your so lucky Hayes saw you and took you to the side walk. but what were you doing out of school?"
I make up a lie but I don't feel good about it.
"Mom I didn't feel good and I didn't want to go to school with my stomach hurting, so Hayes took me to his dads restaurant and we stayed there they gave me some GingerAle and crackers."
"Oh we'll how nice of them. Thank you you Hayes."
"No problem Mrs.Grier."
