A few years passed, I was finally a senior, my last first day of school. As time progressed, I've learnt how to conceal my feelings for Jonah. My relationship with Mason was good while it lasted.

After my break up with Mason I had a couple of flings, no biggies, just making the most of high school. I sort of gotten use to seeing Jonah almost every day, feeling his intense presence, longing for him, but I made peace with the fact that that was all it could be. His intense starring continued, causing shivers down my spine.

'Did I mention the fact that we've, that'll be Jonah and myself, had been in the same classes since being freshmen 'till senior year??' Yeah, that's right'

About 2 years before senior year, I decided to make goodluck cards for the entire class, wishing them well with the upcoming exams. I actually had no intention of doing so, but I was desperate and needed any excuse to show him, if only a little, how I felt. The cards was cute, but his was special, with a kiss on it, 'my lips painted with red lipstick, ofcourse' and sprayed with my teen perfume from back then. I remember handing out the goodluck cards to each student one by one, as I reached his desk to give his, our hands accidentally touched, at that specific moment, a sudden electric shock occurred, leaving us both speechless, that's when I realized just how intense the chemistry between us was. As soon as I snapped out of my shock, I walked away, pretending it never happened.

'What the hell just happened'
'I just touched a few of the other kids and did not get shocked, i wasn't static, what just happened'
I was completely in a daze of confusion.

That day I realized, Jonah McCall was like ink on skin, permanent.
