Hey! Im connor and im a senior at westfield high school. I play for the schools football team but im not your typical jock kind of guy. Im more quiet and reserved than you could imagine. I would much rather chill out at home with a movie then to go out to a crazy party. I was kind of socially awkward.
I had a pretty normal family. Mom, dad, little sister, dog. That was about all there was to it. My sister ali, was a year younger than me and meant the world to me. We didnt have the typical relationship a little sister has with her brother. We were extremely close, i treated her more like a twin than a little medeling sister. I protected her with everything i had, but that still wasn't enough.

"Hey conn. You look pissed. Whats up?" Ali asked when i walked into the house.
"Nothing." I responded grumpily.
"Then why don't i believe you?" Ali responded after hearing my unconvincing answer.
"Luke's a jackass" i stated slamming the fridge shut and opening my cold can of coke.
"Yeah, what'd he do this time?" Ali asked unconcerned.
Luke and i fought often. I guess you could say we had a love hate kinda relationship. He was always doing things that got on my nerves, but this time he most definitely crossed the line.
"Al, its serious this time. He is such a piece of crap. Im sick of the way he treats his girlfriends, and the way he spoke to arissa today got me so mad, i was comforting her and then he blamed me and started bitching at me." I explained gulping down my soda and throwing it in the trash can.
"Well you know how i feel about arissa, but you know what type of guy Luke is so i don't know why you expected more from him." Ali said reaching for a pot from the top shelf.
I walked over and grabbed it for her, placing it on the stove.
"Thanks" she said quietly.
"Sure sis." I retorted. "I didn't expect more from him, but i dealt with his jackass attitude for long enough i don't want anything to do with him anymore" i continued.
"So forget about him conner. He isn't the type of person to get worked up over" Ali replied calmingly.
"Yeah youre right." I sighed. "Thanks for listening" i added before turning to walk away.
"Hey conner?"
"Yeah?" I asked stopping to look back at ali.
"Put this on your eye so mom doesnt freak out when she gets home." She said handing me an ice pack wrapped in a paper towel.
"Thanks sista." I replied smiling.
"Did you at least get a good punch on him?" She questioned.
"Oh you bet i did, he should have a nice black eye tomorrow too." I answered laughing.
"Good, jerk deserves it." Ali answered high fiving me. "I would beat him up myself if i could."
"I know you would." I stated sympathetically. "I love you al"
"Love you too conner"
