I woke up to the sound of guns blasting in the trees, and started to panic. Wow Kat is a VERY deep sleeper.

I pushed my face into Kat's, waking her up.

"Oh my God! We have to go!" Kat scrambled to get out of her red and black sleeping bag, and stuffed it into her backpack.

We started sprinting away from the guns, running for our lives.

I heard people yelling in some other language. And they were getting closer.

-20 minutes later-

We stopped running a few seconds ago and believe me, I am so thankful.

I was starting to slow Kat down and I didn't want to be the cause if our bloody gruesome death.

She started puffing and sucking in as much oxygen as possible. I threw my tong out the side of my mouth and sucked the sticky, bloody air into my lungs.

~~

A/N

I'm going to be talking about blood a lot so suck it up buttercup or don't read this book.

"Okay so we should find a safe-ish place to sleep, that's covered. Well I mean you know, as covered as we can possibly find." Kat was looking around.

"Do, do you hear that?" Her eyes darted from the trees. Taking everything in.

"There." she said pointing at a huge gnarled tree.

I tilted my head sideways because I didn't know what we were looking at. All I saw was an old tree with names carved into it.

"Someone is up there, can't you see Lucky?" She looked slightly frustrated that I couldn't see anyone.

I started walking over to it. My head looking up as high as it would let me and I saw some branches move.

The crystal blue eyes were the first pair I saw. They sparkled in the sun and were staring right back at me.

Sry it took me so long to update and it's so short.

I know it's crappy but I have writers block okay?

Okay.

Ahhhh the tfios feels

I'm thinking about doing Kat's pov. Thoughts?
