"So, are we marching tonight or not?" I ask my teammates.

"Nope." Jordyn informs me. "The coaches want us to rest so that we can get an early start to practice tomorrow. We have our first competition on Sunday."

"That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. They were very confusing. Thanks." I smile at the oldest and sweetest member of our team. All of the girls are sweet, but Jordyn's the sweetest. I'm closest to her and I felt so bad when she didn't make the cut for all around and I did. It's her last Olympics and my first. Granted, it may also be my last, but Jordyn is definitely done.

"Do we have practice this afternoon?" I asked my second question.

"Nope. After morning session w're free! So what should we do?"

"We should go explore London a bit." Gabby suggested.

Kyla, Aly, Jordyn and I grinned. "Sounds like fun!" we cried.

"So what should we go see?" Aly asked. "I don't really know what's around besides the London Tower and Buckingham Palace. We won't have time to do that this afternoon."

"Well, there's the London Eye, and the Tower Bridge." I said. "We probably won't have time to do the Eye today because the line is always huge. We'll have to save that for after we're done competing. The Tower Bridge will be the easiest to get to and the most logical to see today. Another place we could go see would be Big Ben at the Palace of Westminster. I'm not sure how close we would be to that, though. It might be better to save that for another day as well. I would say our surest bet would be the Tower Bridge and then we could go shopping if you want."

"How do you know all this?" Kyla asked.

"I was in London for a few weeks a couple years ago. My sister wanted to come visit England and tour Oxford and Cambridge, so we took the opportunity to explore around London. My dad and sister came out for a month and my mom and I came out for two weeks. I'm not an expert, but we did a lot of sightseeing." I said with a shrug.

"So I guess we'll follow you then." Jordyn grinned. I grinned back.

"Sure, but I'm not responsible for getting you lost."

"That's okay. The car has a GPS. We would never rely on your sense of direction." Jordyn teased, poking my stomach.

"Hey!" I protested, poking her back. "I'm not that bad of a navigator!"

"Yes. You are." Everyone said.

"But we love you anyway." Jordyn said sweetly with an overly sweet smile. I stuck my tongue out at her before I responded.

"It's okay, Jordyn." I said matching her tone and facial expression. "After all, we would never rely on your sense of time. Actually, I wouldn't rely on any of your senses of time." I said to Kyla, Aly and Gabby, before Jordyn could retort.

"What?" Gabby asked confused.

"We have to go or we're going to be late."

"Shoot!" They exploded, almost literally as they sprang in different direction to finish putting their shoes on and gathering their stuff. Aly was finished first.

"Come on, come on." She urged, taking her team captain responsibilities back.

We finally made it out of the room and down to the lobby. We took the stairs, deaming it to be faster than the elevator. Our coaches were waiting for us.

"You're late. They said.

"Sorry, lost track of time." Aly panted.

"Pay better attention next time, yes? Get in the car."
