Omg I finally got this chapter done.
No ones POV
(Y/n) and Marcus had just made their way down the aisle after saying the sacred vows that would lawfully bind them together for eternity. They held hands as they ran down the aisle, everyone standing and cheering them on while slowly following behind them, heading to the reception.
The reception hall was beautiful, it had gorgeous lace what was streamed up the side of the wall. There were beautiful flowers and centerpieces. The tables had white silk cloths with vases with beautiful multicolored flowers inside. In the center of the tables was a beautiful ballroom style dance floor. In the front of the reception hall there was a table with four chairs sat at it, it was a long table. In the center of the table where two chairs sat, a small wooden block sat on the edge of the table. It said "Mr & Mrs" with a heart. Next to the two chairs on the outside were where the best man and the maid of honor sat.
Everyone filed in slowly, following the newlyweds and taking the time to take everything in. Marcus and (Y/n) looked around in amazement, they never thought that their dream wedding could ever become a reality, but here it was, right before them. They brought their hands together and went towards the labeled seats that were for them, Katie and Martinus followed closely behind.
Your POV
When I entered the reception hall all I could do was gasp. Everything was perfect. I've never been this happy in my life. I couldn't help but look over to Marcus, only to see he was looking at me.
"What is it?" I asked him teasingly.
"This whole thing is so beautiful, and yet even now I can't take my eyes off you." Marcus smiled at me as he said so.
A blush quickly spread across my face and I squeezed his hand tightly.
Katie came over and immediately noticed the blush on my face.
"Come on you guys! Save it for tonight!" She said jokingly while elbowing me in the side.
I could feel myself turning even more red as my Martinus quickly came up and snapped a picture of us, my face looking like a tomato.
"Martinus!" I said as I pouted.
"See? Even now, you're so adorable." Marcus said.
I turned to him red faced.
"You (Marcus) knock it off before you kill me. And you two, go sit down." I said jokingly.
Marcus looked at me jokingly with a look of hurt and betrayal. I just smacked his chest and pulled him to the table.
By then everyone had sat down and were watching us while occasionally giggling. I could feel my face heating up again. Suddenly feeling shy I hid my face in Marcus's arm. When I peeked up, he was looking down at me with a smile on his face. I smiled up at him and slowly reached my hand up. I watched my hand and went cross-eyes as I booped his nose.
"You booped my snoot." He said as he fake pouted.
I managed to build up the courage and I leaned over and kissed his nose.
"Better?" I asked in a shy voice while looking away.
He grasped my chin and turned my face so I was looking into his eyes. My face turned red as I saw the sly smirk on his face.
"Not quite." He said nothing more and full on kissed me... in front of all of our friends and family.
"Much better." He said as he saw the look on my face.
I'm pretty sure if your face could possibly go rose red, that's how my face would have looked at this moment.
During the rest of the time while people were eating, some people came up to congratulate us or would comment on how perfect we looked together. Once everyone was sitting down we could finally go eat. I was so happy. It seemed every time I'd go to talk to someone my stomach would do it for me. Everytime it was embarrassing but I mean I couldn't blame it. I was so hungry. Sometimes if I walked past a family member carrying food I'd go in for a hug and steal food.
Finally, everyone had gotten their food and I faced Katie to the food line. She let me win because it was my wedding day and all. I pulled Marcus as I zoomed through the line, piling on all the food my plate could handle.
Katie surprisingly made it to the table first. Martinus didn't go up with us because he was talking to their parents. Katie sat down at the table and Martinus tried to take some of Katie's food. Katie smacked his hand away and started squealing. Martinus grabbed her arms to get her to stopped and they both froze while looking into each other eyes. Katie turned red and so did Martinus. They both awkwardly laughed and turned away from each other.
I looked over at Marcus and saw he was watching as well. I pulled him close to me and whispered into his ear.
"Looks like love masters Mr. and Mrs. Gunnarsen have a job to do."
He looked at me and we both smiled. We laughed and walked back to our seats while holding hands and food. A dream come true.
When we got back to the table the two were a light shade of pink. Marcus and I both sat down and separated the two. I immediately turned to Katie and started talking to her and Marcus did the same with Martinus.
"Sooo what happened while I was gone?" I said while wiggling my eyebrows.
I watched as Katie turned pink and laughed.
"N-Nothing." Katie said as she looked away.
"You know you're terrible at lying. Now spill." I said as I grabbed her hands.
She recapped everything that happened and I squealed once she finished.
"He obviously likes you! I SHIP IT!!" I said maybe just a tad bit loudly.
Everyone looked at us and we both just kind of awkwardly looked away and went about our business talking about Katie's crush.
