Your POV
I slowly felt myself come back into consciousness, suddenly aware of a throbbing pain throughout my head. I winced and tried to move my hand to try and lessen the pain, only to find my hands restrained to the chair I sat in.
I looked around and tried to take in my surroundings, though that proved to be somewhat difficult since the lights were so dim it was almost entirely dark.
I squinted and my vision corrected enough so that I could make out a surgical table, a tray used for holding what I assume are surgical tools, a sink, a small bed, and a toilet.
I tried to move my legs but found that they were also restrained, only they were tied to the legs of the chair.
I sighed and tried to remember what happened, only to wince again as attempting to go back to before sent another throbbing pain to my head. I closed my eyes and leaned my head back, attempting to alleviate the pain even if just a little bit. Anything that'll help.
'How long have I been unconscious? Where even am I?'-
My thoughts were interrupted by light footsteps that echoed loudly in the quiet hallway that was outside of the door. I was suddenly filled with anxiety as I looked around in panic. I tried to find a way out but my restraints were too tight for me to escape. I closed my eyes and let my head drop to the side to make it look like I was still unconscious.
My heartbeat filled my ears as fear rushed through me. I heard a large metal door slowly creak open and I heard footsteps coming towards me. My heartbeat got faster and I tried to keep as still as possible.
The footsteps got so close that they were placed right in front of me. The room went silent for a moment and I suddenly felt a stinging sensation on my cheek and a wet sensation. My eyes flew open and I went to grab my face, I then remembered that I was restrained so I looked up at who my captor was.
"Well well well, about time you woke up. Now we can finally play." Unknown voice said.
I looked up and instantly recognize the girl who gave me countless nightmares and panic attacks. There in front of me stood Sophia, and in her hands, a whip.
Marcus POV
My mother walked away and I continued to sit there, just trying to make sense of what had happened and trying to get my thoughts together as quickly as possible.
I heard the gravel crunch under what sounded like three pairs of feet as a group of people approached me.
I looked up and found three police officers, two women and one man, as well as two police dogs in front of me.
"Sir, we got a call from this location about a missing person, is that correct?" The man asked as he approached me.
I stood up, now face to face with the man. "Yes, I'm Marcus, I made the call."
"Alright sir, may we go inside for questioning?" One of the woman asked while stepping forward.
I nodded and held the door open for them.
The cops went inside and started asking questions. They questioned everyone at the party but no one claimed to know anything about who might have taken (Y/n)....
They searched the property with the dogs but found no trace of her, it was like she fell off the face of the Earth.
Eventually they finished up and said they would look into it more if she didn't turn up in the next 24 hours.
I walked them out and they left. Katie said she would clean up the place and that Martinus should take me home so I could get some rest. I felt bad that I couldn't help Katie and that she had to do all of the cleanup herself, but honestly I wouldn't be much use right now anyways.
I got into Martinus's car and we drove home in silence, neither of us wanting to face the fact that we would have to fight soon.
