The house was shaking, rubble and dust were making the world hazy. The rumblings, almost, sounded like scary thunder, until a scream of agony pierces the air. Following Uncle Max into the shed, I wiped my hair out of my face. The sky was dark, the bright sun eclipsed by the Alien craft. Leaving a halo of light in the sky, but I was frightened. Where is Uncle Max taking me?
I hurried along. Screaming loudly, as a beam struck the Willis's house, and set a fire. The shrieks of the family, rocked me to my core. I fought back tears, and started to pant as we reached the shed.
I ran in, and Max held the door. The smell of fire, death, and debris was choking me. I grabbed the nearest thing as the ground started to shake. The nearest thing, happened to be Max,
"I got you, Ells!" Uncle Max, who was like a father to me, held me while I sobbed. He handed me to someone, and they started running. I squeaked as, the tunnels shook more.
The tunnels started collapsing, the rubble at our heels.....

I woke up, gasping for breath. My lungs constricted, tears rolling onto my sleep wear. I sobbed, openly. I had never really let go like this before before. I held it in. I was strong. Not strong enough. I sobbed harder, pulling my childhood teddy closer to me.
I pulled my coat on, the silvery, slick material doing It's job. The warmth radiating down, to my toes. The metal floor was cold, and the chill ran up my bones. In the lavatory, I pull a hair holder off a hook, and manage my mane of black curls into a pony tail. Starting my walk to solitude. It was a long walk, but I could suffice.
I thought about CoreQuest. They had planned the staying of humans in space. Figured it out, perfectly. Had enough packed to last, who knows how long. They were prepared. So how did they know to prepare?
To the outside world, CoreQuest was space discovery. A company to expand space exploration, apparently, it was actually getting ready to save and transport people. In a event they knew would happen.
No one knows who was in charge, or gave orders. Everyone here are workers. Trying to survive, and figure out our next move. My walk could wait. I think research should be in order. I slide my finger over my computer screen, I felt the sensors read my fingerprint, as I waited for it to be ready. I soon started looking into the other Data Logs. Test and such for CoreQuest.
It was useless data to me, I couldn't comprehend it. So, I continued walking, wanting to get to my special place.
My special place is at the centre, so I walked by the glass walls of the control room. The room itself was going crazy, button and lights were flashing madly! Ping and beeps, going off, alerted me. Something is going on. I step through the door, and I am startled when the computer voice starts screaming.
"Gravity flow changed! Ship in Danger! Gravity flow changed! Ship in Danger!" I know something was happening. The light on the ship, switched on, blinding me, yet light the corridors. I take off to alert the crew. I bang on Captain's door, before running down the hall. I bang on Geoff and Tyler's door. I wake up the scientist, banging harshly. Banging on Larissa's door, I start to finally worry. I know, Capt. Jack has woke up his crew. I can hear him shouting his orders, in his striped pajama pants. It cracks me up, I decide to go looking for Davis, when suddenly the ships starts to shake. I can barley walk straight. I grasp the grooves on the walls, closing my eyes tightly. Truly frightened . Having nothing to lose, I decide to yell.
"Davis!?" I yell. Trying to hold myself upright on the wall. I felt arms grab me. I instantly started to squirm.
"Ahhh, calm down, Evelina its me! " Davis said as he grasped me. I looked around. The ship had stabilized.
"What's going on? Davis?" I waited for him to answer, I had looked up at his face, and I soon turned to see what had made him freeze.
What I saw left me breathless....
