White Lies

You promised me lifetime,
Yet as the grand clock chimes.
You slowly drift away,
Like dreams without goodbyes to say.

All are sudden changes.
In this world that's unexpectedly strange,
From eyes that connects the soul,
Were pulled away with foul.

Where was the vow?
The promise made of love and rainbows,
Were just storms and thunders,
Crashing down into my heart, it plunders.

The oath of my heart,
Was to love you forever, that was my part
So be it, even without you.
There'll be only you.

As the world falls down,
I love your smiles but all I see are frowns.

Well to my jareth×reader fans and readers this poem will later reveal in the book that may perhaps take ages before I'll get to that part. As you all know that I can't right a story short😅 sorry. Of course I know some of you don't want a short short story but I'm working on the next chapter and I had poems in my notes already all that's left to do is jam it in my keyboard but I have exams coming  but I know you guys know I couldn't help it so sooner or later I'll publish it.
