Chapter 4- The Baby Project

-Gabriella's POV-

As the bell rang Ariana, Austin and I rushed to Health class. We walked in and the teacher wasnt even there! Score! 

I sat next to Ariana and Austing as more people began to file into the seats. As we were waiting for the teacher I couldnt help but to overhear Emily and Jo talking about something that was apparently 'important news'. I casually leaned over and listened in to the convo.

~conversation~

E- Did you hear what happened in the cafeteria?

J- No what happened?

E- Well Shay told me that Dylan and Kiara had a fight and broke up!

J- What?!

E- Yeah! Apprently he left her because she was clingy and kissed other guys aswell as for another girl! Then she threatened that when she finds out who the girl is she will regret it

J- No way!!

I stopped listening after that. WOW. I cant believe that he broke up with her. Boy im going to have fun tormenting him about this. Then he walked in along with his posse. They consisted of Tyler, Colton and Daniel. But that was only a small bit of it. They were some of the biggest jocks in school and if Dylan wasnt the it boy one of them would definitely be in his place no doubt. They sat behind me and Ariana with Dylan purposely sitting behind me.

"So I heard you lost your slut today. How does it feel?"

"Pretty good actually. Now im on the market if your interested?" he replied with a wink. Man he knows what gets me mad! He always does this because he knows i cant stand it.

I just rolled my eyes and turned around wondeing where the teacher could be. I checked my phone and realised that we have two more minutes until we can leave class if the teacher doesnt show. YES! Just as I put my phone away, Miss Thornton walked in with two freshman who were pushing a big black cart. All i could think was what the hell is in there?! Everyone else groaned. I guess they all wanted to get out of class too.

The two freshmen walk out and she begins the lesson. 

"Okay class! Today we are going to start our big surprise project I kept mentioning this past week. Before I tell you what it is im going to put you into pairs and whatever I say goes so no arguing and complaining about your pairs." As she said that I looked at austin who looked at me and I was silently praying to get him as my partner.

"Okay now the first pair is...Ariana and Colton!" Ariana looked towards Colton who gave her a wink. She blushed and turned around. She has had a massive crush on him ever since Junior year started."Next is Tyler and Crystal!" Crystal is another one of my BFF's as well as Holland. We all have been friends since middle school except for me and Ariana who have been freinds since the age of like 3 but we all love eachother like sisters.

"Next is Austin and Emily!" I was sad that Austin wasnt my partner but Emily is my cousin and I know she would never try anything because she was a lesbian but only Austin and I knew that.

"Holland and Daniel!" "Jo and Andrew!" "Kiara and Lenny!". As the teacher kept calling out pairs i was slowly wondering who I would be paired with. Our class is pretty big so there are lots of people who could be my partner.

"Next is Gabriella and...." here we go i thought "Dylan!" WHAT?! This cant be happeneing. Great now im stuck with him for this project that will cost half of our grade. I could feel him smirking and burning holes into the back of my head. I looked over at Ariana and she gave me a sympatheinc look. But im gonna make the most of this situation to annoy him even more.

-Dylan's POV-

"Next is Gabriella and...Dylan!" Miss Thornton announced. Great im Gabriella's partner. The one person I absolutely cant stand im paired with. But I dont know why but im actually looking forward to it a little. I knew this was my chance to annoy her as much as possible since we would be forced to work together. We both get good grades so it sholudnt be a problem.

As Miss Thornton kept calling out pairs i just waited to find out what we would have to do. 

It felt like forever until she finished but she did. " Okay now that you know your pairs, go sit next to them and ill tell you what the big project is." I then felt a presence and looked up to see Gabriella. She was just stunning...Hold on. No. 

When everyone sat down Miss Thornton reached into the cart. "So i know you might be thinking 'why are we in pairs for a project?' Well this project is a new edition to the school and you guyd get to try it out to see if it works or not. It will count for half of your grade and you will have to provide a wirtten relfection that will ot be assesd" I just wanted her to spit it out already on hat the project was! " Without further ado I introduce to you the 'Baby Project'!" she announced as she pulled pout a plastic baby doll. My mouth just dropped.
