I was inspired to write this whilst I read online stories of women who were tied to family customs, overruled by relatives. I wanted to write about royalty, about a young girl who struggled to break these bonds and began to make her own decisions and choices of her own.I hope anyone who, boy or girl who reads this story, relates to Amelia and her fight. I hope everyone who reads this novel helps and supports those who really going through the same thing.
