A.N-- Soooo....hi? Umm, this is my first fanfic that I've actually decided to post so I'm super nervous...and I'm just awkward in general...Not beta'd either...Anyways! Hope you enjoy!

RING! RING! RING!

Dipper slowly opened his dulled brown eyes, the room a bit warped as he sat upright.

"Mabel...you...shut it off..."He demanded groggily, rubbing the dried sleep from his focusing vision.

RING! RING! RING!

He looked over at his twin in growing frustration, the old mattress creaking under his shifting weight. Mabel was kneeled on her bed, leaned towards the wall as she continued to roll up her last inspirational kitten poster. The expression on her face was dark and solemn instead of her usual peppy, hyperactive vibes she oozed. Dipper stopped frowning and his face softened, glancing towards her calendar which she had yet to take down.

Oh crap...That's right, today was their last day in Gravity Falls for this summer. Hell, it went by much faster than last year. He tried forcing a smile to liven up the mood. I mean, Hey! Today was also their 14th birthday! Mabel had always loved decorating to help set up for the event! Maybe he'd actually help her and her friends this year...

Dipper was rudely awoken from his thoughts as his twin grumbled, last suitcase in hand, slamming their bedroom door quite harshly. He frowned now, not able to fake a happy demeanor anymore.

He sighed as he looked around the room and realized he didn't have all of his stuff packed yet...close...but not yet. Dipper felt like if he were to pack the last bits of his crap, it'd be like saying his goodbyes, and he was neither ready, nor decently good at those. He let his gaze linger a while before settling on the bedside table. He blinked a few times and then realized the displacement, rubbing his eyes again to make sure. Yep...alarm clock was definitely missing...But where the hell?...

He leaned his body over the edge of the bed, before shooting upright, a loud thud beyond the door stealing his attention. Dipper tensed as frantic footsteps were heard heading in his direction, the bedroom door then quickly flying open.

The other had a look cross his face as if he wasn't expecting the room to be occupied.

There was a moment before he spoke.

"You scream," the male in his doorway gasped for breath, finger pointed in his direction. "I fucking kill you."

Dipper froze, unsettled as his blood ran cold.

That voice was all too familiar...He'd known the damned sound anywhere.

He shivered as slow chills shot throughout his body, his hair standing on end.

He took a moment, swallowed the lump in his throat, then spoke, his voice trembling.

"Wh-What the actual-!?..." Dipper began, body and mind in disbelief. "Are you seriously-!" He dropped his tone and whispered sharply, struggling for air. "H-How are you here!?..."

It was then that he truly took in the other's newly expressive appearance.

He had a young, soft face, flushed but pale at the same time. The heavy weight of confusion and the air of fear evident on his features.

It was like he had come from nowhere.

Was this a sick joke?

Whatever cruel entity that decided to drop him in Dippers presence again must've thought they were a goddamn comedian.

They also seemed to be a one for originality for they managed to tie the other back to his iconic features. He remained with his long, thick black lashes, perfectly curled. Hair cropped short in a matted curly mess of muddy brown and dirty blonde, sweat soaked and stuck to the sides of his face as if he had been running miles in the California sun.
