Lucky Star (Part One)

I looked upon the night sky, watching as the lunar eclipse took place.

I couldn't believe my mom actually let my sister and I stay up to watch this, considering the fact that tomorrow was the first day of school. I would be entering my second year at Pacific Vista High. A mere sophomore. I was excited to see my friends after my long summer break. But I dreaded the piles of work and hours of procrastination I'd have to endure. Don't you just love high school?

A twinkle caught my eye. I looked to my right and spotted it.

A shooting star.

I smiled knowing exactly what I wanted.

I wanted to meet a boy this year.

He didn't have to be perfect. He didn't have to be a genius, or the hottest guy on planet earth.

Just someone that I could call my everything.

Someone that could call me HIS everything.
