"Ashley! Over here!" Chris called.

I turned to find him standing a few feet away, waving at me to come over. I ran up to him and smiled,"Hey!"

He smiled at me,"Hey."

"What are you in the mood for?" he asked me.

I raised my eyebrow,"in the cafeteria?"

He laughed,"Heck no. We're going off campus."

My eyes grew wide,"But...we're not seniors. We can't go off campus."

He smirked at me,"Not if you have connections."

I cocked my head to the side,"Huh?"

"Come on," he said taking my hand as we both went off towards the other side of school.

We soon entered the choir classroom. Mr. Johnson, the instructor, looked up from his desk.

"Hey Mr. Johnson," Chris greeted.

"Chris, hey man. What can I do for you?" he said getting up from his desk and making his way towards us.

"I was wondering if uh," Chris started.

As though he knew exactly what Chris was gonna say he nodded,"Okay, say no more. Just be back in time okay?"

Chris nodded. He then led me out the back door of the choir room to the outside of the school campus.

"You two have fun!" Mr Johnson said, with a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Thanks Mr. Johnson!" Chris called back.

"Thank you!" I followed in suit.

"So, what do you wanna eat?" he asked me.

Still taken by surprise (in a very good way), I shook my head,"Huh? Uhm, whatever's fine!"

He laughed,"okay, I know this great sandwich place just around the corner."

We soon stood outside a restaurant named,"Sam's Kitchen." We walked in and were greeted by the smell of friend potatoes and philly cheese steaks. I felt my mouth water.

"Their pastrami is by far the best in the world," Chris told me.

"Okay, I want that then," I decided.

Chris nodded as he went to the counter,"Two pastramis please."

We quickly received our sandwiches and were sitting face to face at a table by the window.

"So do you eat off campus all the time?" I asked him.

He shook his head,"Nah. Just on special occasions."

I smiled,"What makes this so special?"

"Cause I'm having lunch with a special girl," he declared.

I felt my cheeks grow warm.

"Aww, is someone blushing?" he said with a smirk.

I looked up at him and stuck my tongue out at him.

He laughed, taking a bite of his pastrami sandwich.

"So are you going to the Point this weekend?" I asked, remembering our conversation from Saturday.

He looked up at me,"Huh? Oh. Nope, not this weekend. We have a show."

"Ohh," I said, disappointed.

I was actually looking forward to going with him.

"Wanna come?" he asked, catching me off guard.

"Huh?"

"Do you wanna come to our show?" he asked

I looked around just in case Ashton Kutcher showed up with his camera crew. No one.

"I'd like that. Where are you guys performing?"

"Down by Lawnsdale, at the Renewal," he said.

"Cool, what time?"

"Well, we play at 8:15, so yeah. The tickets are 5 dollars if you wanna bring friends," he said.

I cocked my head to the side,"what about my ticket?"

He smiled,"I got that covered."

"You're amazing," I blurted out.

I widened my eyes realizing what I had just said.

"I mean. um. I mean..."

He laughed,"Thanks. You're pretty amazing yourself."

I blushed yet again, putting the last bit of pastrami in my mouth.
