Your Pov

Leaning against the doorframe of my front door, I giggle softly waving toward my older brother, Katsuki Bakugo, welcoming him home from another day at UA high. Watching, with a bright smile, as he trudges to the front door, his best friends (his squad) his tow behind him.

Katsuki pushes past me with a simple hello and a ruffle of my hair, chasing giggles from my lips as he pulls away with a soft smile. His pink, alien friend (whom he calls 'pinky'), Mina Ashido waves excitedly, pulling me into a tight hug before following Katsuki through to the livingroom. Three more males come in tow, a blonde boy with a black lightning bolt mark cutting through his hair called Denki Kaminari punches my shoulder lightly sending a small laugh my way, a black haired boy with a tape quirk named Hanta Sero sends me a wink with a chuckle, and finally...

Eijiro Kirishima...

The kind - hearted, rock solid red head that everyone can turn to when they're in need. The boisterous, outgoing guy who is always obsessed with the idea of being a manly man. Always commenting on things if it's manly. He was an angel. A sweetheart to everyone whom he spoke too... he stole my heart the first time I met him and I've never been able to think straight when he's near me...

"Hey," he says winking my way causing me to blush softly, "You alright?"
"Y - yeah," I reply smile bashfully, pushing a hair behind my ear, "How are you?"
"I'm great, thanks for asking," he says smiling before it drops into a small frown, "You okay? You're red,"
"W - what? Um..." I say covering my face, "No I'm not!"
"Are you sick?" He asks worried, feeling my cheek, "Coming down with a fever? Is it too hot?"

A small sigh escapes my lips before rushing off to my room leaving Kirishima stare at me as I retreat. Slamming my door behind me as I try and calm myself down. Slapping my face with some cold water.

"(Y/n), honey," My mom says knocking on my door before opening the door, "Is everything okay?"
"I'm fine mom..." I reply smiling softly as I turn to face her
"Okay, um, Kirishima's invited you to go to the cinema with him," she says smiling, "Katsuki's pulled out and he was wondering if you'd like to go instead?"
"Oh... sure" I reply smiling softly, "I'll go get ready,"

This will be fun...

A small sigh escapes my lips as I lean against the wall near the entrance to the cinema, watching as cars and pedestrians pass with nothing else on their mind other than going home. The odd umbrella spun into view, shielding their owners from the rain slamming down upon us. Nothing like the weather matching my emotions. The feeling of pure frustration and sadness all mixed in with a hint of anger...

I tried everything I could to get Kirishima to notice how much I really loved him...

All the little dates here and there. All the flirty responses. The little teasing touches now and them. All the time and effort my brother and I put into our plans to make Kirishima see the light, guiding him to a reckoning of my love. All the gifts. All the presents. All the talks and laughs we had together... All of it flushes down the drain in a matter of seconds with two words...

"Wait, what?"...

If I had it my way, I'd have already burnt the cinema to ashes, writhing in anger. Instead, I left the showroom, ignoring the small groans of ignorance fleeing my way as I dart through the aisles of seats and barge my way past the double doors. Leaving Kirishima to sit there, stupidly looking at an empty seat now, to be oblivious and stupid for the rest of his life.

Why didn't he notice my love for him? Why does it take me to actually slide my hand onto his knee, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek make him realise my love? Why did it have to be so awkward? Why does everything that I want disappear...?

Seconds later, while I'm wallowing in my pity, thanking the rain for covering up the fact that I was crying, Kirishima pushes through the cinemas entrances, frantically looking around. His soft eyes darting everywhere, looking for something or someone before sighing in relief as he rushes over to me, pulling me into a hug with a small smile.

"Thank god you're okay," he says ruffling my hair, "God, if I lost you, Bakugo would have definitely killed me for sure,"
"Whatever?" I reply, crossing my arms, staring toward the road, waiting for my mom, "I'm going home... I don't know about you,"
"Let me escort you back," he says smiling, "Or at least let me give you my jacket so you don't catch a cold..."
"Kirishima... just leave me alone, please," I sigh out with a small groan, "I'm fine,"

Kirishima sighs, pushing his jacket off himself and sliding it over my head of hair, pressing a small kiss to my forehead before pulling away with a small chuckle.

"There," he says proud, "Now, what's wrong?"
"What's wrong?!" I ask laughing softly, glaring his way, "Kirishima, I've been trying to hint at you for months! Months! I've tried so hard to make you realise that I love you! But you don't see that!"
"You... love me?" He asks dumbfounded, looking at me in awe, "Seriously?"
"Yes I do!" I yell crying softly, "But you never seem to notice! You're only interested in yourself... and your bosom buddies! Maybe it was a mistake coming here with you... I should have known it was going to end like this..."

Kirishima looks at me with wide eyes as I push his jacket off my body, letting it hit the floor with a splash. My mom drives up by, parking infront of us, a small glare toward Kirishima and he clears off with his tail in between his legs, ignoring the fact he left his jacket on the floor.

With a small sigh, I slide myself into the car, looking down at my lap wiping my tears softly as I shut the car door. My mom looks at me, rubbing my knee softly.

"Men are stupid, honey," she says kissing my forehead, "I mean, look at your brother, this boy hangs out with your older brother doesn't he?"
"Well yeah..." I reply sniffling, trying so hard not to cry, "Him and Katsuki are best friends..."
"With how obnoxious and stupid your brother can be," Mom says sighing, "I'm not surprised that boy toy you hung out with tonight is the same as him,"
"But mom..." I say sighing, "I love him so much..."
"Honey, one day, he'll realise what he's lost, he's lost an amazing young woman who's got an amazing quirk," she says ruffling my hair, "You'll find the one who loves you... I know you will baby, but maybe that Kirishima boy isn't the right one for you,"

"Yeah... Thanks mom..."
