Deku's Pov

A small smile etches on my face as my mom drops me off at Todoroki's house, the red and white roses in a bouquet sit on my lap as I smile soflty. Today, for the first time ever, Todoroki and I were going on a little coffee date at a nearby cafe, so I thought I'd bring him some flowers to brighten up his home... He's always so blank, so I wanted to cheer him up with some flowers that I think go well with his appearance.

Waving my mom off, kissing her cheek softly as I leave the car, I head to the front door slowly, a small blush crawling upon my face as I knock soflty on the door, holding the flowers in my sweaty palms as the door opens softly, revealing a female version (more or less) of Todoroki with glasses on, a small kind smile playing on her lips as she sees me.

"Hi, how can I help?" She asks smiling, "Who are the flowers for?"
"Uh... they're for Todoroki," I reply blushing softly, I haven't even met this girl and I'm already feeling slightly intimidated, "We're going on a date tonight..."
"Todoroki? Sweetie, you're gonna have to be more specific. We're all Todoroki's," she says giggling
"Oh... sorry, Shouto" I reply, my face turning into a darker shade of red as I look up at her but her smile falls making me falter soflty, "Is everything okay? Have I come at a bad time? I'm sure Todoroki said..."
"It's fine," she says, beckoning me in, "Don't worry... it's just, Shouto isn't feeling very well today, he's sick with a fever but it's always so hard to tell because of his quirk,"

Nodding soflty, I slip my shoes off by the door, following the girl through the house, quietly avoiding Endeavour, quickly sliding past the 'training room' before ending up at Todoroki's door. The girl smiles softly, tapping lightly on the door before opening it to reveal a pale Todoroki sitting in bed with an ice pack on his left side and a hot water bottle on his right side making me giggle soflty.

"Shouto, someone's here for you," She says smiling softly, "He says you're going on a date?"
"Yeah..." he says sneezing chasing little snowflakes from his lips making my eyes light up with a small giggle, "Sorry about this, Midoriya,"
"It's okay, I'd rather you get better," I say walking over to him, setting the roses on his bedside table

A small smile plays on Todoroki's lips as I sit down by his side, cupping his hands in mine as I rub the back of his hand soflty, slowly putting my forehead on his, smiling soflty at the hot and cold feeling pressed upon my own forehead. The girl that lead me through leaves the bedroom, shutting the door behind him with a soft click while Todoroki smiles up at me weakly.

Slowly, I slide off the hot water bottle and the ice pack, setting the down on the floor beside his bed. He looks up at me confused until I prop his head up a bit before snuggling into the bed, his head on my lap, cheek resting on my thigh as I rake a hand through his hair. He closes his eyes, content, humming soflty as he snuggles into my warmth.

"I'm sorry..." he says sighing soflty, "I really wanted to take you out for a little coffee date..."
"I know," I say smiling softly, "But your health is much more important than a coffee date, I'd rather you be comfortable than pushing yourself to your limit,"
"How did I end up being so lucky?" He says kissing my hand softly

A giggle leaves my lips as I begin to rub his cheek softly, a smile playing across my face as the girl walks back in with some soup, she sends Todoroki a small smile as she hands me the tray full of a bowl of homemade noodle soup. His eyes instantly light up at the sight and eagerly sits up making us both giggle softly. Todoroki's love for noodles prominent as he leans against my chest eagerly looking my way.

With a small smile, I pick up the spoon, scooping some contents into it before blowing on it softly, smiling as Todoroki looks at me with his mouth wide open. I slowly, making I don't spill any, lead it to his mouth, his little face beaming as he lets go of the spoon enjoying the contents within. The girl, who I think must be his sister, giggles softly before walking away, closing the door behind her. Smiling, I continue to feed Todoroki, giggling every do often whenever he slurps the noodles into his mouth.

Just sitting here, watching Todoroki with a small beam on his face, made me happy. This seemed much more fun than a little coffee date. Sure, Todoroki was in a weak, vulnerable state where he wasn't feeling his usual self but we were both having a little bit of fun with just each other. Sometimes, on coffee dates with my friends, other people decide to join (like Kaminari or Kirishima with Bakugo hot on their heels annoyed) without really asking which ruins the whole idea. So maybe staying at Todoroki's house wasn't a bad idea.

"Thank you," he says relaxing back into his pose, his head resting soflty on my thigh
"Anything for you, Todoroki," I say smiling softly, chewing on one of the dumplings accompanying the soup with a small giggle, "To be honest, I've enjoyed today,"
"Me too, despite being ill," he says snuggling, "I prefer it being just us... not with other people around, I hate social networking,"

A giggle escapes my lips as I move soflty, so I'm laying next to Todoroki in bed. His arms wrap around my body, pulling me closer, his head resting on my chest as he snuggles closer. Softly falling asleep in my arms, softly snoring every so often.

"I love you, Todoroki"...
