"Nee it's time to wake up!" Luke popped his head inside her room again.
And just like every morning, the scar across his eye glittered in the morning sun.
A painful reminder.
This time Lucy got up straight away.
"Lucy get...." her older brother went in, used to wake her up forcefully.
He was surprised to see his sister already changing.

"Want some breakfast?" He asked Lucy as she came down the stairs.
She stared at the food for a moment and sat down.
A Wolf's gotta eat.
"Luke go get your stuff and wait in the car." He ordered the youngest sibling and Luke danced away.
"Okay Lucy what happened? Don't think I didn't notice the bruises under your shirt." He crossed his arms.
Lucy glanced up from her scrambled eggs.
"It was nothing."
He sighed.
"Lucy if you keep acting like this I really can't help you."
"I don't need your help."
"Lucy!"
"No, Lorcan! I don't need your help. Everything is the way it should be." Lucy hissed and Lorcan backed away.
Her eyes were yellow.
"Okay, just calm down okay?" He said, fighting the urge to submit in front of his younger sister.
Thanks God, they weren't in the same pack.
Lucy had to realize that cause she looked back down on her food.
"I'll get going." She stood up.
"Wait. Aren't you taking the car?" Lorcan asked but Lucy shook her head.
"I'll walk."
With that the door closed behind her.
He could hear her beating heart, just as well as she heard his sight.

"Natsu!" Erza yelled as she saw his pink hair dance above all other.
Her Alpha turned to her with a smile. "Sup Erza?"
He was back to his mainly normal himself.
Though he did act like this only around her and Gray.
"Are you coming today? You know you have to." She added when she saw him rolling his eyes.
"Another Celebration of the Hunt. Happens like every two weeks. Nothing happens if I'll miss one." He said and Erza mimicked him, rolling her eyes.
"Your dad wants you there."
Natsu tensed hearing that word.
His father Igneel, was the previous Alpha, the head of the previously ruling pack.
There were 3 packs currently in this community. The old ones, the pack that included Natsu's grandfather.
The current ruling one, the one were the highest Alpha, Natsu's father Igneel, ruled.
Than Natsu's, the one that will be dominant ruler in few years.
And lastly the one that was not even a pack yet, the little children that didn't even merge with their Wolf yet.
They make up the fourth generation of packs, but are not really considered as a pack yet.
"Why?" Natsu asked, remembering the last conversation he had with his father, not even a month ago.
Since than, they tried to avoid each other as much as possible.
Erza crouched her shoulders. "Didn't tell. And I'm not going to ask."
Of course she can't.
Natsu sighed.
"You better be there. Or than I'll have to stick my neck out."
It could've been considered as a back-talking to the Alpha, but Erza knew that Natsu wouldn't mind that.
Not from his Beta, not from his childhood friend, not from his non-blood sister.
"Yeah. I'll be there." He would never do that to her.
If he didn't come, it would've been taken as her mistake, since she was the messenger.
And since the thing with Natsu's mom, his dad Igneel, was not really friendly.
Erza shook her head as her Alpha got lost in the crowd.
His energy back to level 0.

"Watch were you go freak!" Lucy's stuff flew around her as she fell down, a strong shoulder knocking her down.
She clenched her fists, as she heard the collective laughter.
Apparently, after throwing the captain of the basketball team against the locker, Well let's just say that you don't get popular that way.
It's already been two months, since Lucy changed schools.
And just as before, she had to hide the bruises in front of her brothers.
She clenched her teeth together to stop the growl as some girl on high heels kicked her books around.
"Hey, let me help you with that." A blond guy with spiky hair crouched down and began to pick up the books.
Human.
Lucy gave him a faint smile as he handed her the books.
"Hey. I haven't seen you around before. I guess you're new?" He chuckled and stretched out a hand.
"The name's Sting btw."
Lucy took the hand trying to touch as least as possible. "Lucy."
"Pretty name. What's your next lesson?"
"Chemistry."
"Cool I've got that too. Wanna, maybe, go together?"
And for the first time in weeks, Lucy could feel a real smile crawl it's way on her face.
"Sure."
