Yoongi's POV
I froze after what I heard over the phone when Jimin answered the phone. As far I knew Jimin didn't have a girlfriend. Had he gotten himself in the same hell situation I had. When Jimin finally spoke I couldn't help the angry yet slightly worried tone that my voice took on.
"Jimin..where the fuck are you?" I ask. The noise of the other members across the room seemed to die down when I spoke. I looked up and they all were looking over at me. I just waited for him to answer.
"Uh..what do you mean hyung?" Jimin said sounding confused.
"PD-nim is looking for you. You haven't been into practice all week, and you haven't answered anyone's calls." I said standing up and walking to the hall.
"Oh..I decided to take a vacation. I was almost certain I told everyone about it. I went to visit a friend in Daegu." Jimin said sounding nervous. My concerns turned into confusion. Who would he know in Daegu?
This is the first time I hear Jimin saying something I don't know. He tells me everything on whatever he was doing or wherever he was going. I felt my chest tightened as I felt like I wasn't close to him anymore.
"Who the hell do you know there." I said, trying to maintain professional.
"An...an old friend from dance class back home. She recently moved to Daegu." Jimin said seeming to get less nervous as the conversation continued. He must have been flustered when he first answered the phone.
"Okay, but where are you right now." I asked, "'Cause it sounds like you are at a office to me." I heard Jimin sigh.
"Yeah. Unfortunately my friend is pregnant. She is a little upset about it. The father works a lot and she doesn't know how much help he is going to be. She asked me to go with her to an appointment today because she didn't want to go alone." He said in a pitiful tone.
The longer I talked to him, the greater my confusion rose. It wasn't like him to just skip out on practice or go off without telling anyone. Also something about his story just didn't seem right.
"Do you know the father as well?" I asked.
"Yeah and he can be an ass sometime." Jimin said and for some reason I felt insulted. "But he is mostly a good guy." He added.
"Just.." I couldn't finish my sentence, as a thought blocked my mind a few seconds, "Just call PD-Nim and tell him where you are." I said, feeling a headache coming on.
"Sure, I will when I get back to my friend's house. Oh and Yoongi, please apologize to the others for me." Jimin said.
"Yeah, sure." I said and hung up.
The whole situation had me confused. And I didn't buy Jimin's story. The way he described his 'friend,' she should've called a friend who already lives there. So that Jimin won't need to go there. It all just seemed too bizarre.
The headache went from dull to throbbing, the more I tried to wrap my head around everything. I went back into the practice room and grabbed my bag. I needed to go home. I needed to sleep off some stress. My phone went off before a text from Alison but I ignored it. I couldn't take anymore today.
