When Ben fell, Kenny bolted down to him. Lee followed them while I stayed with Christa and Omid. I could barely see what happened to Ben, but I could tell he was still alive. He did have something through him though.
Christa and Omid comforted me as the walkers came, and Kenny forced Lee behind the gate while Kenny went to fight the walkers. I could tell Lee was trying to get out, but tears rolled down my cheeks as I realized Kenny was going to die.
Lee soon climbed up to looked at the three of us. I bolted to him and cried in his arms.
"It's alright, (Y/N). They don't have to suffer anymore." Lee reassured me.
I said nothing, and just kept crying as we pulled away and Lee explained what happened to Christa and Omid. Later, we walked across a board that was near River Street. Then we came across a sign that we had to cross unless we wanted to go through a large number of walkers.
"Well (Y/N)'s the lightest, then Omid, then me, and Lee's in bad shape." Christa said.
"I'm going." I said, they all were shocked.
"You're not going alone." Lee said, I rolled my eyes.
"I'll go across quickly, it can hold me. Then you can join me, and then Omid and Christa can get across too." I explained, Lee sighed.
"Fine, you go first." He said.
I climbed as fast as I could across the sign, then Lee attempted to do the same. When he got closer to me, most of the sign fell apart. I quickly gave Lee a lift and helped him to my level.
"Are you sure we can get through these walkers?" I asked quietly, after we left Christa and Omid for Clementine.
"I'm not sure, (Y/N). But I won't let them bite you if anything happens." Lee said, I nodded.
He handed me his clever and picked up a shard of glass. The two of us got through the hoard of walkers by stabbing and kicking them aside.
We were covered in so much walker blood that it seemed like the walkers were losing interest- as if they thought we were walkers too.
We got inside The Marsh House and searched for the room Clementine and the bad guy were in.
We found a room with two chairs and two doors that had a rope tied to both knobs. When we inspected them, a man with a gun came from behind us.
"Hello." Lee muttered.
"Okay, this is civil." The man said. "You both look horrible." He pointed with his gun. "Go over there."
"Who's out there? Let me out!" Clem called, before we could call to her the man silenced us.
He forced us to place our stuff on the table so we did, then we sat down and they both explained their life stories.
After more talking, Clem snuck out of her room and I glanced at a bottle to give her a signal to take it while the man was busy talking to his dead wife.
Clementine whacked him in the dead with the bottle and Lee charged the man. The man got the drop on Lee and attempted to aim the gun at his head but I jumped on top of the man and pulled the gun away.
The man ran after his gun but Lee ramed him into the closet doors and began to choke him before Lee could kill him, the man pushed him to the ground and attempted to choke him but then Clementine picked up the gun and shot the man in the head.
Clementine began crying in our arms as Lee and I both hugged her tightly.
"Let's just get somewhere safe." Clem suggested, so we agreed and headed off.
Lee opened the door but when he did, the walker only stared at him. Like he didn't know that it was a human. Lee shoved the walker to the ground then shot it's head.
"That's how we get out of Savannah. Cover ourselves in walker blood. Then they can't smell us." I said, Clem was grossed out but Lee agreed.
Lee dug into the walker and we both began to smear Clementine with the walker blood. I decided to touch up myself too because there was not much smell left- unless I had gotten used to the smell of them.
"Clem." She turned to look at me. "Aren't you missing something?" I said, holding out her signature hat.
"Oh my gosh, I thought it was gone!" She exclaimed, as I put it on her head.
Walked outside the Marsh House with all the walkers, we were quiet enough that they didn't bite us. Suddenly Clementine froze, Lee and I glanced over to see Clementine's parents I attempted to grab her and keep her moving but before I could do anything Lee fainted.
Clementine and I were able to pull Lee into a safer place where there was only one walker inside. The garage door itself was locked so the only other way out was near the lone walker.
Lee finally told Clem that he was bit, I comforted her when she was so shocked. Clem and I helped Lee along the side of a glass chamber but before he could get to the walker- he fell.
