Molly soon had a walker on her as Clem and I appeared, but Clem shot it. We headed back to the armory, as Ben finally told Kenny it was his fault that his wife and child died. We began voting if Ben should stay or leave.

"Ben is a friend and you don't leave friends behind." Clem said.

(Y/N) will remember that.

"Clem's right, you can't leave a friend behind." I said, as I glanced at her with a huge grin, that she returned.

Brie was going to ask if she had a say in the votes- but a walker came through the door and killed her.

We entered the armory and we headed up and down the stairs. Lee shot the walkers as we headed up the stairs. The noise of the gunshot scared Clem, so I held her hand as we continued to run. I held in a squeal as Lee's foot got stuck in the stairs, I wanted to go help him but I knew if I did- I'd most likely die trying.

He freed himself not long after and I watched as Christa helped Lee but shooting some of the walkers that were about to attack him. Clem squeezed my hand tighter as we ran further. Finally, Lee got to the top of the stairs with us, so Clem and I ran over and hugged him.

We started to climb down a ladder to a roof below, it was so high up that Clementine looked like she was about to puke. We got back to the old house soon, and got to Omid.

We almost thought he was dead, until he shot up and asked why we were back so soon. I held in a laugh. Omid was a nice guy. Soon Vernon and Lee stepped out to have a chat in private while, Omid, Christa, Ben, Clem, and I stayed in the room to talk.

I overheard the conversation between Lee and Vernon though, Vernon had told Lee that he could take Clem and I off his hands.

He was going to take us back to his own people. I supposed Lee was going to turn down his offer, but he didn't give him an answer. Soon he came to see Clem and I in a small room overlooking where Kenny was working on the boat.

"Where will we go, Lee? When Kenny fixes the boat?" Clementine asked, Lee sighed.

"Someplace else, someplace better." He said. "(Y/N) honey, what's wrong?"

"Is Ben going to be okay? He doesn't seem the same." I muttered.

"He's been through a lot, he'll be fine." Lee responded.

"When we leave tomorrow, will we have time to look for my parents?" Clem asked.

"There may not be enough time. It's not safe." Lee admitted, Clem began to cry as I held her tightly and she layed down beside the window to sleep.

I laid down next to her silently and fell asleep.

The next morning, I was awoken by Lee.

"(Y/N)? Where's Clementine?" Lee asked, shaking me awake.

"Huh- what?! She was here asleep a minute ago." I exclaimed, we both jumped up and searched the place.

We stepped outside, and we both noticed Clem's signature cap on the ground. We heard a buzzing noise outside the gate, so Lee and I climbed over to see Clem's walkie-talkie on the ground beside an old car.

Lee walked over to the walkie-talkie, and turned it off while I was behind him. Seconds later, a walker jumped out and bit him. With fury fueling him, Lee stomped the walker's head in.

"No no no..oh, fuck!" Lee said, as I finally noticed the gash on his left arm.

"M-Maybe you'll be okay!" I suggested, he shook his head.

"Lee, (Y/N)! Are you out here?" Christa called, we glanced over and sighed.

"You can't hide this, Lee. You should show them." I said, he nodded.

So he did, and they were all really concerned.

"Are you sure she didn't just run off?" Omid asked.

"Vernon came to me last night, saying he could take Clem and (Y/N) back with him. Said they both would be better off." Lee explained.

"I knew we couldn't trust that fucker." Kenny hissed.

"But why would he take just Clementine and not me?" I asked, they all tilted their heads.

"I don't know." Lee admitted.

"What do you need from us, Lee?" Christa asked.

"I need help with finding Clementine. I don't know how much time I have left now." He said.

"We'll help." Omid said.

"Thank you." Lee responded.
