(Sorry for not updating in a while I've been kind of off lately but I'll try to update more, anywho enjoy!)
"Jesus Connie watch where you're going you fucking dumbass!"
Connie dodges a tray coming toward her through the main kitchen door, she makes it to the chef and hangs up her order.
"Don't listen to him Connie, he's got a stick up his ass since noon." They laugh, Connie had worked here for not that long and everyone had been pretty nice. The cook Aug was an older man he was the nicest to Connie. After her shift, she did her best to avoid Ryan, the coworker who had yelled at her earlier. She was so scared of confrontation she practically ran out to her car, barely missing a fire hydrant on her blindside. She hops into the car and speeds off as fast as the speed limit would allow her. She rushed into her apartment passed her roommate Johnny and his boyfriend straight to her bedroom slamming the door. Jack knocks on the door.
"Hey Connie, it's Jack is everything alright? You can come in here and watch movies with me and Kyle if you want." There's a muffled "Hi Connie" from Kyle in the living room. Connie dabs at her eyes with a tissue and opens the door to a Jack holding a mug of Hot Cocoa.
"Thanks, bud." Connie hugs him, she really needed that. Jack had been her friend for years and he was the only one to stick around when she began to transition. He got her so well. He pulls away and smiles at her.
"Come on were watching fight club, again." Jack playfully rolls his eyes and Kyle swivels his head around the door jam.
"What? It's a good movie lame ass." They share a quick kiss and Connie sticks her tongue out at Kyle.
When she met Jack he was in a bad place, but she really thinks Kyle saved him. When he met Kyle it was completely on accident they sat next to each other at a P!nk concert and Jack spilled a beer on Kyle's lap and when Kyle was about to yell at Jack when he notices the color of his eye matched his own perfectly. It was truly a fairytale event. He had moved in about a month ago and Connie loved it they were so much fun but it always made Connie feel pressured to find someone. The only problem was Connie's eye was either brown or blind which means she was blind or her soulmate was. After Fight Club Connie said goodnight and went to bed thinking about if she'd be blind for the rest of her life or never find love.
Connie went to work with a better attitude and told herself she would do great. She walks in the back and hangs up her coat next to Aug's. She always felt like the kind of girl to be very forward and she had decided she would tell Ryan that she didn't take kindly to him yelling at her in front of customers. She looked around and saw him sitting in the break room texting she walks in her heart racing a million miles a minute. She can feel her palms getting sweaty as she walks up to him. She stops right in front of him and clears her throat.
"Excuse me, Ryan?"
"What's up Connie?"
"I was just co-" She makes eye contact with him and there it is her same brown eye and that same blind eye she feels a rush down her spine and then everything goes black.
(Sorry this wasn't that good I'm preoccupied I'll do better another time.)
