Kayla's p.o.v

It's officially my favorite season, Fall. The different color leaves. Cozy nights in with the fire burning. Not to forget the PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES were officially back and I was beyond excited. I was cleaning a few of my dishes from last night's dinner between Kian and me. Kian came up with the idea to have a romantic night in and we sure did. He had candles lit and rose petals around the table. It's so cute of him and there was music playing in the background. I wish I could repeat that night over and over again. At this moment Kian was out getting breakfast, we both decided we couldn't be bothered to make our own breakfast. I don't know where he was going though he said it was a surprise.

"Baby, I'm back!"

"In the kitchen"

"I need you to close your eyes, I've got a surprise"

"OK!"

I closed my eyes and felt Kian's presence in front of me. I smelt fresh baked bread and cinnamon.

"Did you get cinnamon buns?"

"Yes, but that's not the surprise"

"Tell me"

"OK, so I know the fall season is like one of your favorite seasons ever and to make it feel more like Fall, I got you something I'm sure you'll love very much. So, open your eyes"

I opened my eyes and saw a Starbucks cup. The smell of pumpkin filled my nose.

"Ahhhh, you got me a PSL"

"I sure did, I made sure they made it a little bit hotter just how you like it"

"Baby, I love you"

"Anything for my princess. Anything else you want to do today?"

"Hmm, Luke wants my help with some parts of his wedding, if you care to join you are more than welcome too"

"I'd love too. What time?"

"Going over to his house at 2:15"

"Cool. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure"

"Have you ever thought about marrying me one day?"

"When I first met you I made a joke to Luke about marrying you and well here we are as boyfriend and girlfriend. So, yes I guess you could say I've thought about it"

"Anytime, in particular, you wanna get married?"

"Let's see we've been dating for 4 months so maybe after 8 months or a year"

"Sounds good to me. I'm gonna get the most beautiful ring you've ever seen"

"Nothing too big, but then nothing to small"

"Got it"

Truth is, I've already got a ring to propose to Kayla with. I'm surprised she didn't get suspicious when I was asking those questions. I had JC and Chelsey help me pick the ring out. I just wanted to buy it so I had it ready for when the right time happened. It was beautiful like Kayla. A nice silver ring. There were other options like a gold one or rose gold color, but I just decided to stay simple.
