We all sit around a pot with hot steam pouring out of it "What's for dinner?" Luna asks with hopeful eyes, I go to answer but I get interrupted by shadow "the same thing we've had for months...potatoes" he says as if Luna was stupid for asking. "I was asking amethyst." She says coldly and looks back to me,I feel my heart drop. But I smile as I get a bowl and pour some of the potatoes and hot water into it. "Actually these are special potatoes...they had periwinkle blooming near them. Which are said to be planted by Irene herself!" Luna's eyes light up as I hand her the bowl "really?" She asks her tail appears and starts wagging, I nod. She looks down at her bowl and devours it in seconds, I look at shadow who rolls his eyes...
I sit outside looking at the moon, I hear footsteps behind me. I look to see shadow sit next to me "planted by Irene? I can't believe she fell for that" he says looking at the sky "I had to give her something or she wouldn't eat them." I say simply, we sit there in silent "she's your sister. It shouldn't be my job to make sure she eats." I say rather coldly, he looks at me then looks up again "I know, but she might as well be your sister too. We are a pack." He says "I'm pretty sure there more wolves in a pack..." I say "it doesn't matter how many wolves in a pack, we protect each other. No matter what." He says calmly as if he knew it his whole life, which he probably has. We sit in silence again "remember when we went to the lake to get water that one time and Luna found those frog eggs" he chuckles, I can't help to giggle too "she snuck them home and the frogs hatched!" We both laugh "or the time when we tried to steal eggs from the bird nest! That bird hated us soo much we didn't go outside for two weeks!" We laugh more. It was nice to think of the fun times we've had here. It was a pretty nice place but with great people it became ten times better.
