FLASH BACK

I sit under a tree with a book in my lap "And so, if I had to decide between knowledge and kindness I'd choose a kindness in a second. Because that is all the true knowledge I need..." I read aloud, I look up "Luna. Are you even listening?" I say obviously annoyed, she swings her legs as she sits on a branch above me. "Yeah yeah. Choose knowledge." She says boredly "that's not even close!" I say slamming the book closed,she swings on the branch "I'm sorry. But that book was boring!" She says, I roll my eyes "it isn't, it is important."  She pulls a funny face,I chuckle a little bit "I made you laugh so that means I get to choose what we do next!" She jumps down "come on!" She runs off "w-wait!" I say rushing after her...
She stops behind i bush and hides behind it, I kneel next to her "what exactly are we doing?" I ask knowing I was going to hate the answer "we're gonna steal some apples!" She says smiling "WHAT?!" She covers my mouth quickly "shh! Nazy! You're going to get ya caught!" She whispers, I pull her hand off my mouth "first it's enaz! And second are you crazy?!" I whisper,she peeks over the bush. I do the same to see a girl with brown hair and a boy with blonde hair fighting each other with wooden sticks. "They're distracted! Let's go!" She sneaks to a apple tree,I follow "Luna! This is crazy! We're gonna get in trouble!" I whisper as she climbs up the tree "we are if you don't shut up and hold the apples!" She whispers back "hold the apples?" She starts picking and dropping apples, I catch them. I almost have six when "HEY! THEIVES!" I spin around to see the boy and the girl coming towards us! THUD! I look back to see Luna lying on the ground, she jumps up "GO!" We start sprinting away but I hear them behind us. "I knew this was a bad idea!" Luna grabs my sleeve and yanks me to the side into a bush,I drop the apples and duck down as I hear the boy and the girl stop near the bush.
"We lost them!" I hear the girl say angrily "calm down ember!" The boy says. "They probably didn't get far! Let's go!" They both run off, a feel relieved "well that was fun!" Luna says taking a bite of an apple, I take a bite of one too "I am never letting you choose what we do ever again!" I say as a chew.
