MackenzieFey.
Thethought of the teen plagued my thoughts throughout the entire daymaking it hard to concentrate as I couldn't get anything else to grabmy attention from the girl as I could feel my heart accelerating as I envisioned Mackenzie in my minds eye.
Herhair was long, barely best her breast as it was dyed a bright cherryred which complemented her pale skin tone and bright blue liquid blueeyes.
Asigh of adornment escaped passed my lips while exhaling as I reminisced getting lost into Mackenzie's eyes; it wasn't that her eyes were bluethat had me at such a loss of breath; it was what I saw in them.Behind the smeared mascara lines and heavy falling eyelids, her eyeswere a stormy blue and gray that seemed to drown you.
Getsome sense into you Pierce; she's a minor.
Icouldn't help but think if not scream at myself, shaking my head to desperately scatter my thoughts onto to something, if not anythingelse; but if it hadn't worked all morning it definitely wouldn't worknow.
Clockingout from work, catching my normal car-pool home with a co-worker ofmine, only to discover when we pulled into my driveway that Dana wassitting on the porch with my roommate Robert.
"Finallyyou're home! Go put on a bathing suit, we're going to take Kenzie to thebeach!" Dana practically ordered at me the second I got out of thecar.
"Firstoff, don't tell me what the hell to do; ordering me around like I'm abitch dog and secondly I don't want to go anywhere but to sleep." Iargued practically foaming at the mouth.
"Ohcome on; you've been at work since six o'clock and you need some vitamin D. Also you can show off those abs of yours." Dana repliedwinking and nudging my side.
"DanaI really just want to sleep." I pleaded, longing for the darkisolation of my room.
"Thensleep at the beach and work on your tan."
"Rob,care to intervene?" I pleaded hoping that he could save me from notgoing, but Robert said nothing and just simply shrugged hisshoulders, taking a puff of his cigarette.
"Comon it'll be fun; plus it'll give a chance to talk to Mackenzie moresince you went mute on us yesterday." Dana implied.
"Andwhy would I want to do that?" I asked hoping that if I avoided interacting with the teen it would quell whatever infatuation thatwas growing inside of me.
"Because Kenzie's curious about you. She think's you're cute."
Ifelt a knot form in the pit of my stomach like a boulder going down asteep hill, falling to my feet as my cheeks started to warm, peakingat my curiosity.
"Bullshit."I scoffed rolling my eyes as I tried to hide the smile that wanted toinvade my lips.
"Ibullshit you not; Kenzie kept asking me about you; things I obviouslydidn 't know the answer too. She kept going on about your eyes; Shereally like your eyes and how you smiled at her the whole time.Expressed that she's never met anyone that made her nervous, in agood type of way, Kenzie was blushing about you all night." Danacontinued with what I assume where fabrications of her idoitic stonerillusion of the world.
"Nope,No I see what you're trying to do Dana and I'm not falling for it."
"Whatam I trying to do?" She asked confused, but I could see rightthrough her, she was trying to coax my interest and go with them.
"Justlike I said yesterday I'm not getting involved with a minor." Ispoke slowly assuming that the girl was be slow in the common sensedepartment of how this was wrong.
