The Only One Left

~Chapter 6~

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Wake up!" "Quick!" "Come on!" "Get up!"
I jolted up by the sound of another person at first I thought it was my mind playing tricks on my, when my eyes actually focused I saw him, I couldn't believe it I'm not the only one! Omg I'm not the only one!
I'm not..
"If u value ur life come with me now quick!" He interrupted with a panic in his voice,
I... I can't  I reply
I unlocked the door and opens it I showed him my badly injured leg.
He turned around "get on"
"What?"
"Get on I'll carry u"
I stood on my non injured leg and jumped on his back, as soon is I was on he ran with me, he ran as fast as he could I was still confused what's going on I looked around and realised  a giant sink hole was devouring the city I griped on to his back as I got scared  incase the sink hole  catched up on us. Along side him was his dog a giant rotty.
Moments pass and thanks to him running we managed to get away from the sink hole, when we were away from it he still carried me on his back until we got to this cave, I'm guessing it's were he's been living he put me down on a bed and put a pillow under my leg since saving me he hasn't said a word I'm still amazed how there is another person on earth I'm not alone.
I sit there watching him make his fires and make so food and a drink he did it all in silence.
"Hear drink this" he said with a suttle tone in his voice as he passed me a hot mug of fluids I don't know what it was but it teasted amazing.
"Thank you"
"I appreciate u saving me and carrying me as well"
"No problem" he replied
"Why did u help me u could of left me to die why help me" I ask
A giant smirk spread across his face
"Y not until then when I saw u I thought I was the last person left I through it was just me and daisy hear I wanted to help u is that a crime" he said sarcastically
"No and thank you again" I replied with a smile
"Can I ask what your name is? I'm Margo and I'm 16" I said
"Name is josh I'm 17" he replied
"Nice to meet you" we both said in sink
I blushed and giggled a-bit
"How long u been hear?" I asked curiously
"A year I traveled from Texas and now we are in lowa so yeh"
"Oh cool I just walk around everywhere looking for another human" I replied
"Well u didn't look hard enough" he said with a grin
Margos P.O.V
Wow I'm not the only person and the other person is kinda good looking, josh has crystal blue eyes, he's tall, cute, muscular and basically umm fit :)  he is wearing a black bickers jacket with skulls in the back and ripped jeans I don't know if that's intensional but it looks good anyway the one worry I have about his is that he's not that trusty of people but other than that he seems like a nice guy//

Josh's P.O.V
I knew there was someone else out there I knew I wasn't the only one I'm kinda luck this girl is kinda cute but dam she talks to much she very talkative I think it's cuz she's had no one to talk to for 2 years I get it but she seems nice she has deep hazel brow eyes and long brown hair her skin seems soft, I felt sorry for her tho with that bad cut qI'll help her till it gets better.
Night came pretty quick I watched her curl up into a ball and fall asleep, I took my blanket and put it over her so she stayed warm. "Night" she whispers to to
