The Only One Left

~Chapter 7~

Josh's P.O.V
I woke up about 4 am as I usually did, she was still curled up in a ball fast asleep even though I not long met this girl I can tell she's someone special. She seems adventurous but mysterious I can't quite get my head around her I need to know what's  her deal?
Why is she so mysterious?
I need to know More about her.

Margo's P.O.V
When I woke up I turned on my side facing him, his back was towards me, I don't know what he was doing nor do I care all I can think about is my leg it hurts so much but I proffer having a messed up leg then being dead.
I have a feeling it's infected or something.
"It's not infected" he said
"Wait what? Was I thinking out loud or something"
"It's not infected and no u weren't" he replied.
How the hell did he know what I was thinking.
"I'm magic" he said with a giggle
He did it again wtf.

"Why are u up so early are u ok? Aww does little Joshy get night terras" I said with a sarcastic tone while laughing my head off
"No I just don't sleep a lot" he said with his back still facing me.
"Seriously tho are u ok ur kinda quiet I don't know how u can be so quiet I can't be quite" I said
"I can tell" he giggled
Daisy ran in with a giant stick hoping to play with josh, I guess he wasn't in the mood to play with her, he's never in the mood to do anything. Even tho my leg killed I slowly got up balancing on the other let just to play with her, she was so sweet and goof but her owner grumpy and moody 😒
When he turned around he seemed surprised I could balance and play with a hyperactive dog.
Eventually he came over and played with daisy, I laughed as she tackled him to the ground playing around, licking his face. It was the first time since I meet him I saw him smile, he had a gleaming smile; kinda chubby cheeks. I noticed his necklace dangling under his  shirt.
"What's that?" I asked
"What's what?"
"Your necklace it looks big"
"It's a cross" he said
"Oh ur religious"
"No"
"Why do u have a cross then?"
His smile disappeared off his face pretty fast.
"It's what my mum gav...
"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't realise I'm so sorry"
"No it's fine abit of curiosities hurts no one" he said
My heart sank at the realisation that his family gave it him ik how he feels and ik how much it would hurt is someone asks me that as well I feel so bad.

Josh's P.O.V
What's that?" She asked
"What's what?" I replayed
"Your necklace it looks big"
"It's a cross" I tell her while rubbing it
"Oh ur religious"
"No"
"Why do u have a cross then?"
My smile disappeared off my face pretty fast I didn't mind telling her it just hurts.
"It's what my mum gav...
"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't realise I'm so sorry"  she interrupted
"No it's fine abit of curiosities hurts no one" I said.
We both lost our family's so I'm guessing she knows the pain.
I could tell she felt bad for asking but I can't blame her for wondering, when I was playing with daisy I noticed her laughing and giggling at her licking my face her smile made me feel happy in some way, she pretty cute sometimes I gotta admit that.
