Chapter 2

*Seo-yeon's POV*
I woke up to my alarm ringing at 8. I turned my alarm off and turned to the other side, while falling asleep.
*1 hour later*
I suddenly woke up and looked at the time. Shoot, I only got 30 minutes! I quickly got out of my bed and ran to the toilet. I took a 15 minute shower and quickly put on my outfit.

I quickly looked at the time and noticed that I had 5 minutes. I quickly ran to grab a comb, when suddenly I heard a car honk. I ran downstairs, grabbed my keys and walked outside, not before locking the door. I walked to his car, opened the door and got in without saying a word. I put the seatbelt on, as he looked at me.
"Don't employees usually greet their bosses formally?" he asked while starting to drive. I just rolled my eyes and took the comb out.
"I guess not..." he muttered. There was an awkward silence, when he finally decided to turn on the music radio. I started combing my hair as Dean's D(Half Moon) came on and I just hummed along to the beat. I felt Mr. Arrogant glance at me. I looked in the corner of my eyes to see him smile. We finally arrived and we got out of the car to walk to the cafe, where we met Bong. He walked in, while me and Bong both looked at each other and walked in, me going before her.
"Let's eat. You didn't eat breakfast, right?" he directed the question to me more that Bong, but she replied.
"No. I had breakfast" she replied cautiously, while I just shook my head no.
"You didn't?" he asked me. I just shook my head again.
He sat down on a table and motioned us towards the seats.
"We're not hungry" I said while looking around.
"I only come to work on Mondays and Thursdays" I tuned him out as I was looking out the window.
"Are you listening?" he asked. I snapped my head towards him and nodded while Bong Soon replied with a yes.
"Somehow, even that was leaked. Which brings me to my point. From now on, only you and I should know my schedule" he said seriously. I just nodded my head again.
"Why are you not sitting down?" he asked to both of us, while looking at me. Both me and Bong sat across from him.
"I've been getting stalked and blackmailed recently" Mr. Arrogant whispered.
"By whom?" asked Bong.
"If I knew, they would be detained by now" he replied smartly. Facts.
"Then report it to the police" I told him.
"I don't like nor trust the police. I will catch the stalker by myself. Help me" he said seriously while looking at us in the eye.
"What?" I asked hime bewildered.
"Didn't you say you liked games?" he directed the question to Sonnie.
"She may have said that but I didn't say anything" I exclaimed.
"This will be thrilling. Why don't we try catching them like a game? It will be fun" he said, completely ignoring me. Excuse me. That is not nice.
"You said you wanted to join the Strategy Department, so try it. We have to win" he said while leaning back. He's still ignoring me. Alright, I see you.
"Is this a joke, sir?" asked Bong seriously.
"Life is a game and the biggest game is life. There is nothing to be serious about" he said. I'm about to leave.
"Have you done a lot of bad things that gained you many enemies?" asked Bong Soon.
"Have you even looked at him or his profile before you asked this question?" I muttered under my breath, but it seems like he heard me, and yet again he ignores me.
"Does a game character get stronger by doing a lot of bad things? The world is full of bad people. You must strengthen your defence" he said while eating.
"Why do you not like the police?" asked Bong curiously. My ears perked up at that.
"Do you like them?" he directed the question to her.
"Yes" he looked up from the food he was eating and just looked at her in the eyes.
"What about you, Seo-yeon?" the audacity.
"I like them better than you because at least they have the decency to answer more questions than you ever will" I said while standing up and getting my bag. I started walking off, but then stopped and turned around.
"Plus, that one police officer is much prettier than you!" I hmphed and walked out of the room. I decided to walk to another cafè and get some actual food. There was a few people but not too many. I bought some food and sat down by myself.
