3rd person POV•
Flash back:

As Beth was about finished packing for her forest trip, 5 year old Nate was clinging onto the frayed jeans begging her not to go.

"Nate, let go" Beth begged, shaking her leg gently, trying to prise her little brother away from her leg.

"I don't want you to go" he stated in a baby voice, his words were muffled as his face was buried into Beth's knee. She smiled, and she picked him up.

"Look, I'm only going for the week, you'll be fine..and I'll bring you back some candy" she saw Nate's frown turn into a wide smirk, she laughed, Beth looked into Nate's bright blue, teary eyes, it broke her heart when he cried, especially like this. She had to go..she couldn't let her friends down again. Beth gave him one last squeeze before releasing him from her grasp. She cleared her throat.

"C'mon you, lets go down stairs and say goodbye to mommy" she ruffled his brown hair before they made their way downstairs. Their mom was sat in her armchair, reading one of her famous "Charles Dickens" books, and drinking a small glass of Chardonnay, her favourite. As Nate sprinted into the living room, he practically dived on his mom, leaving a little bit of her wine trickling down the side of the glass, which eventually fell onto the floor.

"Hey buddy" she greeted as she hugged him. Miranda (A/N Miranda is the mom btw :P) didn't mind, about the little spillage of wine, most people knew that she was very patient with Nate, she had to be as he is a huge bundle of energy.

She frowned, when she saw Beth walk into the room, she pulled her in for a hug, creating a big family/group cuddle.

"Oh Bethany, what am I gonna do without my little girl, for the week" she sobbed a little.
Beth laughed a little,
"I'll be fine mom" She'd check her watch "I should be going..it's getting late, we are suppose to meet at the park now"
"Okay darling, take care.."
Beth would smile a little. All of a sudden, Nate would leap onto her, leaving her in shock.
"I wove you" He said cutely.
"I love you too, little guy"
Nate squeezed her tightly, squeezing all of the air out of her lungs. After a few seconds, she'd gently pulled him away and place him carefully back in Miranda's lap. Beth would wave them one last goodbye before stepping out of the door. She was certain she could hear Nate screaming and shouting for her to come back..she ignored it..

There was no turning back now...

Flash back over, present.
•Nate's POV•

I was in a daze, day dreaming about, life...I guess..
Before Jacob snapped his fingers in front of my face, immediately making me jump back into reality.
"Dude, we are starting the doc" Jake announced.
I just nodded my head in approval, as Sylvia pressed the record button on the camera and started the introduction, to our 'Adventure', I really didn't want to do this...but it was my idea, and I need to know where my sister is..or if she's still alive, thirteen years ago..she went missing. I can remember me and my mom taping "missing" posters on every lamppost we passed...But now..everything has changed, Mom has given up on searching for her, all she does now is drink at-least 4 bottles of wine a day, and sleeps. She doesn't work anymore. I find it hard to cope..With no sister and an alcoholic for a mom..the only people that keep me sane are my 4 bestfriends, I don't know what I'd do without them! Suddenly I felt some sharp jab into my side, as Izzy nudged me to say my lines, I started telling the camera about my story...
This is really happening..
I'm going out there..
We might not survive..
But, I'd do anything for my sister..!
