"Say CHEESE girls!" "CHEESE!" We said, and mom snapped the picture. She showed us. "Look at my big girls! The first day of seventh grade! I am so excited for my darlings!!!" She squeezed us tight. Too tight. "Mom, I am going to puke Lucky Charms all over you if you squeeze any tighter." I said. "I second that!" Said Charlotte. Mom laughed but loosened her grip. "Okay, now hop in the car before Ash comes out crying because I left her in there too long." We nod and hop in the back seat.

"Hi Ashley, are you okay honey?" Mom asks her. She sniffed and held on to moms arm, as if she may never touch her again. "Hi Ashley" I say, hoping to make her feel better. She turns around in her seat to face me. I wave. "Jinny?" Ash asks. I nod. She claps her hands. "I guess!" She squeals, very happy.

Ashley is our older sister whom we adopted this summer. Mom says shes fifteen, but acts like shes two because she has DPD. That stands for Dependent Personality Disorder. Something happened to her that made her this way, but says I dont need to know. Soon, we pull up at our middle school. As looks around suspiciously to the new surroundings. "Say good bye to your sisters Ashley."

Charlotte and I say bye, but Ashley's eyes widen. "NO!" she screams, shocking us. "HE'LL GET YOU!!" We are about to say who, but mom quickly says "No, he wont get them here. They are safe, dont worry. We will pick them up later when its time to okay?" Ashley nods and says "Dont let him get you." Then she buries her face into mom's arms. "Goodbye girls. We will come pick you up after school. Remember, only one friend over at a time unless you ask me specifically okay? I love you girls, have a good day." Mom says.

"Okay mom. We love you too." Charlotte and I both say.
