The letter

Kaitlin pov:

I stared at the letter wondering who it could be from ... I thought could it be from Jess or worse my dad! I froze everything around me seemed to stop I stared at it if it was from my dad then it was gonna be the worse letter I've ever read. I knew that I had to get out the car and even if it was from my dad then I could just put it in the bin straight away I didn't even have to read it did I ?

As I snapped out of my daydream I looked around and got out of the car I slowly walked towards the letter ....

There it was laying innocently on the ground oh god here goes ...

Dear Kaitlin,

I'm writing to tell you that your father has been put in prison .

Firstly, I would like to explain why your father has been put in prison he has been put in prison for breaking into other people's houses and screaming we think he has got a mental health problem .This mental health problem has been resulted in being here because he told us you have moved out with your mother .

Secondly, he has been charged guilty with attempted murder and abuse we have been told that he has been mistreating you by not treating and caring for you like a father should of.

Finally , I would like to say that if you do wish to collect your things from your old house you can . and also you will not be mistreated ever again otherwise we will have to inform the police , I would also appreciate it if you would be able to make an appointment with me about your father and Come to court just to conclude that he did do these things to you .

After I had read this I was overjoyed it wasn't from my father it was about my father I felt a smile come on my face and my feelings raise.

"Yes!!!!" I screamed punching the air

"What what's gone on what's wrong are you hurt?" my mother ran to me

"Nope read this I'm overjoyed mum I'm so happy finally he deserves it after all he has done that to me I still have scars on my stomach from where he got a knife and drew a massive line and then said sorry a few days later when I was in hospital" I told her

"Omg Kaitlin this letter is the most amazing letter ever I'm so happy for you !" my mother screamed

I had almost forgot about Niall, I saw him in the corner smiling with tears in his eyes.

"Niall are you ok?" I limped over

"Yes I'm fine it's just that I'm so lucky to be where I am today and that I did have a beautiful family and I'm just so glad that I've got you in it and I'm hoping to keep that tradition with my beautiful girl which is you" he said hugging me

"Oh thank you " I squeezed his hand and kissed his lips. Then all of a sudden my belly grumbled. we both laughed.

"Well I'm gonna get nandos does anyone else want anything ?" my mother asked

"I'll just have some chips and a curry basically the normal"i turned around

"Ok Hun I will be 30minutes behave" and with that she walked out the door

'Hey do you wanna watch a film?" niall said in his cute Irish voice

"Yeh sure what about pitch perfect? I love that film!" I said getting excited

"Ok I will put it on " he said

When niall returned to the sofa I turned around and hugged him on the sofa and watched the film as I began watching it my eyes began to sink down and with that I was asleep .
