We looked everywhere, around the hotel, near Chang's base. But there was no sign of them, they had left no trace, except for a coded message on Erica's bed.
The message read: edoc si -.... / ....- / .---- / ...-- alu e ui o le faitotoa
Erica was the one who originally found the note, I had initially overlooked it while I was scanning the room. We then tried to decode and figured out that the first part was words backwards.
edoc si = Code is
We knew that but the next part was a bit trickier, we managed to figure out that the dots and dashes were numbers in Morse code. Spelling out 6 4 1 3 respectively.
The next part was hard, unless you were Erica, Erica spoke Samoan perfectly which is probably why it was written like that.
Put together the code read: Code is 6413, go through the door.
Even after uncovering this, we still had no clue on what to look for.
"Now what?" I asked Erica
"These numbers are probably for some sort of door or safe. We should look for it" Erica replied annoyed at me for not realizing the same thing.
"Where do we even start?" I asked with excitement.
"I honestly don't know, we've checked everywhere."
Suddenly, there was knock on the door. Erica gave me a glance which meant, open the door and be ready to fight.
I reluctantly held the door knob as the person on the other side knocked again louder this time, as I opened the door, I saw the following, Catherine Hale, Mike Brzezinski, and Zoe Zibbel.
"My, let us in, its freezing out here Benjamin, good to see you again!" Catherine seed with delight.
Catherine was Erica's mother, she was a spy for M16 British Intelligence, she was also highly skilled. Following her were my friends, Mike who was my childhood friend, and Zoe who was also my friend however things have been rather awkward between us ever since I found out that she had a crush on me
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked still shocked, I glanced at Erica and she seemed to be in the same shock I was.
"Isn't it obvious, Cyrus and Alexander have been taken, we're here to help" Catherine responded.
