9 Quidditch Tournament

POV Elsa

“And here we are! Welcome all wizards and witches to witness an epic battle between two houses!” I hear Merida’s little brother yelling with the help of megaphone spell. “Oh shut up and let me do the work!” Second one of Merida’s brothers yelled.

“Now we see how the teams are flying to the arena! Here comes Slytherin!” Third one of Merida’s brothers yells. They are fourth year students but their extreme personalities with their love to do pranks has gotten them the position as commentators in Quidditch matches.

I look up and I see how team of Slytherin flies to air. Their Seeker is Maximus his job is to get a hold of the tiny golden shiny ball with wings. I am a Seeker also. We have to fly fast and stay on lookout. Catching it gives the most points and ends the game.

There are one goal in each side of the field where we play. It is dangerous not only because we are flying in the air but there are Bludgers. They are black 10 inch diameter balls made from metal. They fly in the air and we have two Beaters in our team, they will hit them towards other teams players and keeping their team players safe. We also have a Keeper who guards the three goals that are hoop shaped from other teams two Chasers. The Chasers try to make goals with oval shaped Quaffle that is red in color.

I am the Seeker and Team Captain in Ravenclaws team. Our Keeper is Shang, Beaters are Astrid and Robin Hood. Our Chasers are a team of two girls, Ariel and Belle.

Slytherin has a team which is lead by Hans, he is the Keeper. Beaters are Adam the Beast and Mavis. Maleficent and Jim Hawkins are the Chasers. Their Seeker is Maximus, he is actually animagi who is a wizard who can turn to white horse. He has a short temper.

“Let us cheer out Ravenclaw!” Merida’s brother yells. I lift my leg over the broom, I am flying in the front. Our Keeper follows me and then comes the rest. We make a honor round around the arena. Ravenclaw bursts in to cheers. I wave my hand to them.

I go in front and I am staring at Maximus. We are waiting that they will throw out the Quaffle and free the Bludgers. I lean to my right and a Bludger barely misses me. “Sorry for not catching it!” Astrid yells while she flies past me. I nod to her, now they will release the Snitch. It flies high and goes out of sight.

I hear the cheers when Ariel does first goal. “Give applauses to Ravenclaw for the fabulous goal!” Merida’s brother Harris yells. “Indeed it was Harris!” the second brother, Hubert, agrees. They are redheads like Merida and they have Scottish accent.

I see Maximus getting tense and I look at the direction where he is looking at. I see a golden flash in the air above us. Maximus gets speed with his broom and I fly after him. I glance to my left when I see something black getting towards me. I stop my speed and I try to avoid the hit. This is too slow, it will hit and crush my bones.

Suddenly I feel a gentle wind blowing and I look to my right. I am in front of Slytherin’s audience area. Jack Frost is staring at me and I see how he does a sight move with his hand. He uses his Spirit power and moves me with his wind. The Blundger hits to invisible wall which prevents it from hitting to people in the audience. Jack snaps his fingers and he lifts his gaze up and gives me a playful look. When I glance up I see that Maximus is swearing. Jack just prevented him from catching the Snitch.

Jack is chuckling and smirks. I give him an angry glare, he is doing stuff that affects to the game. “Oh! oh!” Merida’s brother Hamish yells. “Did you see that! Both of the Seekers are having problems!” I blow my hair away from my face, the wind caused my knot to open and now my hair is in french braid.

I am flying around the arena. “Now Slytherin takes the lead!” Harris exhales and Slytherin is cheering. I see Jack yawning in the audience, he is the only one not to stand. “Another goal to Slytherin! What is Ravenclaw doing!” Hamish gasped.
