Water...Please Not Water

"Sonic...let go...of th-that door frame!" Shadow yelled and pulled Sonic's torso harder than before, making Sonic let go and squeal.

"I don't want a bath! I don't!" Sonic protested as Shadow locked the bathroom door and plonked Sonic down on the chair.

"Sonic you have to have a bath and that's final. Why are you so scared of the bath anyways faker?" Shadow asked, running the hot water, applying some bubble bath he found. Although Shadow was here alone half of the time, he sure liked having some comforts.

"Stop calling me Faker. I was around that place before you." Sonic hissed and crossed his arms, looking away from Shadow.

"Sorry Sonic and you didn't answer my question." Shadow pressed, taking his gloves off to check the temperature before shutting the taps off and turning to Sonic.

"I'm not afraid of the bath. I'm afraid of the water." Sonic confessed, looking down and feeling embarrassed. Shadow didn't make a noise of laughter or a scoffing which was a surprise.

"Everyone has a weakness Sonic. You just have to over come it." Shadow nodded and looked at Sonic, chuckling softly.

"What's so funny Shadow?" Sonic asked, looking at the ebony hedgehog who had a smile instead of a grumpy mouth.

"You're afraid of water, yet you are blue. Isn't it ironic? Anyway that's not the point. It's bath time." Shadow announced grabbing Sonic's hand but Sonic backed away, not wanting to go in. Water was like the fear of spiders or heights or creepy crawlies.

"Shadow please don't make me do this. I can't go in there." Sonic argued but Shadow didn't listen. With in a flash, Sonic's gloves, sneakers and socks were off and in Shadow's hands as he smirked. 'What is up with him today? He's acting so...childish.' Sonic thought, wanting to curl up as he could smell the bubbles. Shadow wasn't going to give in, even if it meant him going in the bath too.

"Look Sonic. Trust me on this okay? You'll be fine." Shadow reassured and lifted Sonic, but Sonic wasn't going in with out a fight. He began squirming and scrambling about in Shadow's arms but what was the point? Sonic suddenly felt the water hit his tail then his legs, causing him to panic and grip on to Shadow, making them both fall into the bath. Suds and bubbles spilling over the edges. The two hedgehog's surfaced, covered in water and bubbles. Shadow's nose was touching Sonic's soft one as they both looked into each other's eyes. Shadow's crimson eyes quickly flickered to Sonic's lips and back up. He didn't know what this feeling was towards Sonic but he wanted his peach lips against his own tanned ones. Sonic blushed wanting to move away but he was in a trance, glued to watching Shadow's gleaming eyes. Their bodies leaned closer, as Shadow took Sonic's hands in his. Shadow's eyes closed and he placed his lips against Sonic's, causing Sonic to close his eyes slowly, excitement rushing through his body as their lips began to dance against each other's. Was this what Shadow really wanted? Indeed, this is what he was searching for. Love.
