Chapter 4: F. R. I. E. N. D. S.

Hinata's POV

Time skip: Next morning

I woke up in a clean-white abode that soon resembled to be a hospital, I looked around as my eyes ended looking at my cousin who was lying his head on my bed with his eyes closed.

I smiled at him and sighed. He's overprotective when it comes to me though, sometimes I overthink about why he's so angered if someone would threaten or attempt to hurt me.

I nudged his head so he'd wake up from his deep slumber. "Neji-niisan? W-what h-happened?" I asked him while holding my forehead after experiencing a pounding headache.

"Ladu Hinata, you fell unconscious. Sakura just beat you up and desserted you some---" I cut him off while waving my hands as if disapproving his answer.

"I-I mean... Umm.. Wh-who brought me h-here? " I asked as he somehow curled his lips into one sorrowful frown. I felt sad about the situation. I sighed and tried to sit up.

"No hime-sama, you'll hurt yourself. " Neji warned while holding both mu arms for my own support. He sat me up on the bed again. He pats my head while smiling in a worried look.

"Hinata-sama, you shouldn't have done that. What if you fall? " He asked in a concerned manner. Sometimes, I just can't understand Neji-niisan.

"S-sorry nii-san. I-I'm always a-a burden. I won't w-want to b-bother you any l-longer. " I stuttered while smiling at him, reassuring that I would not do it again. He sighed and pat my head as I blushed myself. Somehow, he noticed it and chuckled, I only pouted in response.

"You don't have to be so apologetic, my little hime. But, I don't mind listening to your soothingly cute voice all the time. " He said while I smiled at him, I saw a slight tint of pink on his cheeks as he immediately looked away. Breaking eye contact.

"Nii-san, wh-who brought me here? C-can you please tell me? " I asked him as he sighed, like he was giving up to my pleading. He rubbed his neck while tucking me back to bed.

"It's Sasuke. He saved you from Sakura's clutches. She almost killed you if it weren't for that duck-ass. " Neji blurted out while his eyebrows twitched irritatingly. I guess I have to thank Sasuke later.

"Anyways Hinata, I'll go for now since we still have to train. It's such a drag though. Just call me if you need something. I'll be off now. " He bid goodbye as I waved my and in approval.

"S-since when will I a-actually stay here? " I asked myself while bowing my head. I wonder what happened yesterday and what did Sakura mean by 'mine'?

Well I guess they're a thing right now. I wouldn't want to interfere with Sakura right now or I'll get myself another beating to deal with. I closed my eyes and rested again to ease my headache.

Time skip: after a week

It's been a while and Neji, Shikamaru, Tenten, Choji and Naruto have been visiting me recently for a while. I really do love their company and wish for them to stay for a while but something seems to bother me.

I really want to thank Sasuke for saving me. It's been giving me nightmares and disturbing my sleep after I knew about the incident. Why did he even save me? I thought he hated me though.

Who am I kidding? Uchiha's really are weird. What am I saying? Im 10x weirder and stranger than anyone here in Konoha. I sighed as Shizune walked in to give me a check up.

"Good morning Hinata. How are you feeling?" She asked me with a smile carved on her face. I tried ti sit up as she sat on the bed with me.

"G-Good morning to y-you too, Shizune-sensei. I'm f-fine, nothing in p-particular though. " I replied giving back the smile she offered me. She checked my temperature and slightly grinned.
