Chapter 5: But she's only Human

Hinata's POV

Why does he continuously save me. Why? I want to die and he would just shatter my plans. I followed him as he puts both of his hands in his pockets and walked off.

"S-sasuke-kun?" I asked him as he stopped on his trail and looked at me with emotionless eyes. I looked down and played with my hands awkwardly.

"N-nothing. You can g-go now. " I spoke as he tsked. I think I might've annoyed him, maybe he's irritated of me? I don't know. I just want to go home now. I'm tired.

Suddenly without warning, I closed my eyes and fell to the floor and into oblivion.

Sasuke's POV

I was walking out of the waterfall while hearing a soft thud from behind me. "Hnn.. " I muttered not knowing what had happened. I continued on walking but didn't hear anymore footsteps from behind me.

"Hinata?" I asked from nowhere as I see her already lying cold, down the ground. I went to her side and took her bridal style. I felt like a Prince Charming in a little fairytale. Pffft... How childish.

I walked back to my trail and took a secret shortcut to avoid the awful fangirls. Speaking of the devil... Here comes one now.

"Sasuke-senpai! What are you doing?!"A girl with blonde hair and cerulean eyes looked at me with wide eyes tinted with hatred and envy. I don't like where this is already going.

"What's the big deal with girls these days?" I muttered while pulling the pale-lavender beauty nearer. I saw her scoff at me as I just rolled my onyx eyes in extreme annoyance. Is it me or is it just the fact that people are bugging me all day?

"The big deal is you carrying that ugly-duckling. You know that it's better carrying me instead. " She flirted as I grew angry ovee how she called Hinata an ugly-duckling, just look who's talking.

"If you have nothing better to say then you should go. I have no time for chit-chats with a 'fat' girl like you. " I exclaimed, emphasizing the word fat. Tsk... Serves her right.

She flossed her blonde hair which made me role my eyes in annoyance again. She smirked devilishly and clicked her tongue. Show off. "Is that so? How about I report this in public? " She questioned while grinning.

"Do as you please but you'll regret it. " I hissed which made her snicker. Just what are you planning you knucklehead?

"Well, well, well... I never knew the airhead, jet sasuke would easily be pissed off. " She teased. Isn't she a fangirl? Well, anyways... I don't really care on what she thinks right now.

"Just go. I don't have time to play. " I said and jumped from tree to tree while carrying Hinata.

"As so you know, you'll never get away with this. " She said and ran off without another word. I rolled my onyx eyes and continued to bring the Hyuga back to her home.

As I arrived the compound, I went in the gate revealing the large mansion with a lot of cherry blossom surrounding the place. I ignored the flowering arrangements and knocked on the front door as I man with long hair like Neji's and intimidating pale eyes answered the knocking.

"Who might you be? " He asked.

"I'm Uchiha Sasuke of the Uchiha clan and also the last survivor of the expedition. I'm here to bring back your daughter, I saw her lying unconscious near the waterfall's riverbank. You should keep a better eye on the girl more, sire. " I spoke in a formal-polite way as possible.

I thought he would get angry but instead, he smiled in a kind way. What's the big deal old man?!

"Uchiha Sasuke? It's been a long time since I've seen your father doing some paperwork as always. I heard that you were really popular with the girls and not to mention that you own the entire Uchiha compound. Would you like a cup of green tea? That is if you want to. " He replied while signalling me to get in.
