Leader's Log: This is Natalie Thompson, we have begun to search for our families. We're starting with Daniel Mcdonald's family. Then, we will be going to look for amara penn's family and Madi Thorton;s family and on to the rest of the group. Believe it or not as much as i took my family for granted before the apocalypse, I have found myself praying for my family and my groups lives more then I pray for my own. To be completely honest I wouldn't really care what happened to me as long as tthey were safe. As my favorite Supernatural T.V. show character "Dean Winchester" would say "You can stand me up at the gates of hell, but I won't back down." Dean and I are the same in many ways. My group and I are a lot like the Winchesters, because we know a little about a lot of things but we know just enough to make us dangerous.

It's nearly night fall, we haven't found shelter and this is the first time we've had this problem. Dante and Patrick had begun to see movement in the trees..... All of us were in danger and we knew it. We had to get away from the bike trail. My mom had always said the bike trail was at its best for criminals in the dark. Although I suppose now it's more of the best hunting ground for zombies. At least now that we are here and if we didn't get out of here quick I fear we would be the best meal they'd had in of a year or so.

We had to run to at least Daniel Mcdonald's house and we were about 2 miles away from that destination,in walking distance if anything. My leg was still bleeding from the laceration from the glass that was in my skin just hours before now. Luckily for us there was a gap in the trees where I could see what looked like the 5th avenue LIQUORS store but I couldn't be sure. "There's a store up ahead." Dante yelled back to me and the rest of the group that was to the back of him. "What kind of store?" Amara yelled back from underneath my left shoulder along with Daniel underneath my right, helping me limp down the asphalt. "It looks like a liquor store, could have meds and food." Dante yelled back. "SHHHHH!!!!"  Madi yelled "If you guys keep yelling like that we'll be dead with in a matter of seconds." " She's right you know." I said to Daniel as quiet as I possibly could. "I know but she could be a little quieter herself." Dan said with a smirk upon his face. You know that's probably the happiest i've seen him in a long time. we were almost to the door of the 5th avenue LIQUORS store when we heard it, the moans and groans of the undead. Then we heard a crash, Dan and I turned to see Dante's hand through the glass of the door to the liquor store, considering how quiet it was at this time of night the sound of crashing glass was music to a zombies ears it meant we just rang the dinner bell for the mischievous undead.

Once Dante had gotten the door to the 5th avenue LIQUORS store unlocked we all rushed inside and pushed one of the store shelves in front of the door Dante had broken through. "Well that was a close one." Dante said with a stifled laugh. "Yea." We all said with a laugh. Once Savannah and Aliana had gotten to their feet they walked hand in hand to find the light switches to the liquor store. "Found um." Savannah yelled as the lights to the store came on drearily. " I'll go look for medical supplies." Aliana said in a calm yet breathless voice. I limped my way to the checkout counter, that's when I noticed the smell. The smell of rotting flesh but it wasn't a walker. If it was it would've attacked already I peered over the counter to see a gun and a lifeless body. "Guys I think I found the store keeper." I yelled to the others spread out around the store. "I was wondering where he was?" Dante said trying to be funny. " Dante that's not funny." Amara said to him but he already knew that he was trying to brighten the mood a little. The body had a name tag on it. It said "Michael". The poor guy couldn't have been any older then 23 or so. Unfortunate to say but by the look of the scene he shot himself in fear of not being able to survive the apocalypse. "Natalie let me see your leg." Savannah said walking up to me with a "FIRST AID" kit in hand Savannah was the doctor of the group. " Well what's up Doc?" I said with a laugh. "Haha very funny." Savannah tried so hard to be serious when working on a patient, so she grabbed my leg and propped it up on a chair to steady it. Savannah grabbed the tweezers from the kit and unwrapped the bandages on my leg and then, she began tearing the shards of glass still stuck in my leg from the day before. "This is gonna hurt Nat." Savannah said to me as I was biting on the medical cloth, trying not to scream to loud because of the pain. "How is she doing?" Amara asked as Savannah was binding my wounds. "She'll be fine Amara. Won't you Nat?" Savannah asked me with a chuckle " Yea I'm sure i'll be fine you pain in the ass." I replied as a I kicked Savannah in the ass with the leg that I could still move. "Hey, now watch it." " watch yourself." Me and Savannah said  to each other with a laugh.
