"What is she doing here?" Hindi mapakali si Abram habang nagsa-shower si Monroe sa kanyang banyo. The memories were still fresh even though it happened a year ago. She's more beautiful when she's sober. And goodness, it affected him even if he tried to ignore it.

Hindi niya lang maiwasang matakam sa katawang naroon sa kanyang cabin. Tumayo siya at akmang magtutungo sa pinto ng banyo. He wanted to watch her take a bath, but damn it, he shouldn't. Nanlalaki na ang mga mata ni Monroe sa menu ng Italian restaurant na kanilang pinuntahan. "I want to order lobster—"

"Value meal for her and I'll have steak," putol ni Abram sa kanya.

Mabilis na napasimangot si Monroe sa sinabi ni Abram. Kung hindi lang guwapo ito ay tinusok na niya ang magagandang mata nito.

Tumaas ang kilay ni Abram dahil hindi niya nasagot ang tanong ng nakangiting waitress sa kanya. "Ma'am, bacon, spam or hotdog? Fried rice or plain rice?" ulit nito.

"Eh kung sa'yo ko kaya ipakain ang lahat ng iniaalok mo? Can't you see? It is dinner time. Why would you offer—"

"You can eat anywhere you like, Monroe. Since I am paying for it here, you should be contented with what I can give."

"Pero—"

"Or I will report you at the security office for overstaying."

"Fine! Bacon! I don't eat rice so just bacon," aniya sa babae sa kanilang harapan.

"How about your eggs, Ma'am?"

Tumaas ang kanyang kilay. "I want it scrambled." Sumilip siya sa kinauupuan ni Abram at pilyang tiningnan ang shorts nito. "Yung sobrang scrambled na egg."

Wala siyang reaksyon na natanggap mula kay Abram at tumingin-tingin lang ito sa paligid at tila nililibang ang sarili. Naiinis siya. Hindi ba siya magandang tanawin para tingnan? Men from other table looked at her, but the man in front of her? Dedma! Ang kanyang atensyon tuloy ang nakuha ng binata.
