Zoey's POV
I can not believe Kamri, Courtney, Lilly and Jordan
I bring them to meet my grandfather for one day
ONE DAY
And they go and do something to upset him
I felt arms wrap around my waist and a chin placed on my shoulder as I continued reading my book
"Hello Zane"
"Hello my darling" He replied kissing my cheek gently making me relax slightly
"I am guessing you and your brothers finished early?"
"Yes, My darling, Jordan, Kamri, Courtney and Lilly would like to speak with you"
I glanced over into his icy blue eyes and exhaled softly closing my book
"I'm sorry Zane but I do not wish to speak with them right now"
"I do not understand, You are always one to talk to them if they request for you"
"Zane....it's complicated...." I said looking down as some of my hair fell in front of my face
Zane placed some of the stray pieces behind my ear
"Whatever it is I am sure that they'll make it better"
I sighed softly
"Alright I will go talk to them..." I said getting up
"Hey Zoey! Listen about earlier. We were just asking him some questions and...I guess we went a little too far with one..." Lilly said running up to me
"You went way past the line with whatever you asked"
"We know and we feel terrible." Courtney said with Kamri,Jordan and Lilly nodding in agreement behind her
"We're sorry....Do you forgive us?" Lilly asked
"Of course but next time back off just a little bit please."
"We will! We promise!" Jordan said
"But I would like to know what you girls asked that made him so upset"
All four of them tensed up and looked at each other which made me narrow my eyes a little
"Uh....We may have....sort of asked...about what happened to your parents?" Kamri said nervously
The Great Kamri nervous?
Ha!
"You asked him what?!"
"We're sorry! Our curiosity got the better of us!" Courtney said
I honestly could not believe them
I stormed away ignoring them calling my name
I slammed the door to me and Zane's room
I took a couple of deep breaths to calm me down because I know if Zane comes in here later I will end up snapping at him and hurting his feelings
I plopped down on me and Zane's bed and picked up my book to finish the reading I was doing earlier
Knock Knock
"Password?"
Zane poked his head in with a face full of confusion
"I don't believe we have created a password for our own room"
I giggled and motioned him to come in
"Are you alright my darling? You looked quite upset after you talked to the girls"
