Zoey's POV
"No no no no Lilly, Fritz Donnegan is the hero of Starfarer who fights villains in outer space! To think that you're dating Lloyd you'd have this burned into your head" Jordan exclaimed as the five of us walked around New Ninjago City while the boys were on mission that would take a few hours
"I know that but here's the thing I don't get-" Lilly said before getting cut off by Kamri groaning in annoyance
"Will you two shut up? You both sound like Cole yelling about who ate his cake last" Kamri said earning a smack from Courtney
"No they don't Kam *laughs*" Courtney said laughing with me joining her
"Well well well, Lookie here Sydney if it isn't Freakshow-Incorporated" Our unfavorable blonde classmate Chloe said walking up to us
"Oh god here we go..." Lilly mumbled
"Go away Chloe, we don't want to deal with you today" Courtney said rolling her eyes before tightening her ponytail
"Shut up Ms. Piggy besides why wouldn't we want to mess with the freak*Looks at Kamri* the girl with daddy issues*Looks at Jordan*the tweakers kid *looks at Lilly* the pig *Looks at Courtney* and of course the orphan *Looks at me*"
"Look unless you want your lights knocked out I suggest you turn around and walk away" Kamri threatened standing to her full 5ft 7' almost 5ft 8' height (Yeah Kamri's a TALL ASS bitch lol)
"Get away from us freak, besides we're surprised you freaks haven't left little orphan Zoey yet, after all her parents clearly couldn't stand her so why should you?" Sydney said looking me straight in the eyes while getting in my face
I couldn't say anything except for small stutters and sputters as I backed away from the two rude friends
"Even she knows it's true because Ms. Smartypants isn't saying anything *Laughs* "Chloe said walking away with Sydney while laughing
I stared at the ground, not saying a word ignoring my friends call my name to get my attention
Before I knew it I was engulfed in a tight hug from Jordan
"Don't listen to her bookworm, that's not gonna happen. We don't plan on leaving you for a long time, hell we won't leave you ever." Kamri said ruffling my hair
"Thank you but-"
"But nothing Zoe. Chloe doesn't know the truth, you do though and that's all that matters beside like you said before you were a baby you couldn't have done anything" Lilly said
I opened my mouth to say something but closed it, due to me knowing that they were right
"I guess you girls are right..."
"Come on the boys got done with the mission early, they wanna meet up for pizza" Jordan said with her signature child-like smile on her face
As we walked to the pizza place I had my head down the entire time thinking about what Sydney said like a broken record
"We're surprised you freaks haven't left little orphan Zoey yet, after all her parents clearly couldn't stand her so why should you?"
"Hey ladies! Glad to see you could make it" Cole greeted as we walked up to the place
I gave the boys a small fake smile, clearly showing I was upset but I don't really care
Zane noticed immediately
"I will be in there in a bit fellow siblings, I must talk to Zoey alone"
Lilly patted me on the back, giving me a small smile before walking inside with her boyfriend
"What is the matter my darling? You seem to be upset about something"
"Zane...Can I ask you something?"
"Of course my darling, What is it that you wish to ask?"
"You....You and your brothers won't leave me...Would you?"
"Of course not! Zoey, why would you ask something like that?" Zane exclaimed grabbing my hand gently
I explained to Zane the run in with Chloe and Sydney before we met up with him and his brothers
"Zoey, I would never in my life leave you, I know what it is like to be alone and I don't want you to experience it more then you already have. I love you more then words can describe"
"Thank you, Zane I love you too" I said before kissing him gently
"Come on, the others are waiting for us" He said dragging me inside where we sat down with the others
"Bout time you two showed up! We were starting to think you were in an alleyway making out" Kai joked making the rest of us laugh
I know that I never got to meet my parents when I was younger, and never had a normal childhood like some of the other girls but I know that they would be proud of me for who I have become
Plus I have a wonderful boyfriend and a wonderful group of friends I can call my family now
